The XG Project began in 2017. From hundreds of auditions a couple dozen were chosen. Through training and an elimination process, the 7 current members were selected. After another 5 years of training they debuted in March 2022. These girls are top tier performers!!!! They sing, rap and dance. What’s fun to see the their off-stage personalities. They’re like real sisters since they began together with some as young as 11 years old. Now they’re ages 18 to 22. XG is the future!!!
XG has 4 rappers(Cocona,Jurin,Maya, and Harvey) and 3 vocalists(Chisa,Juria, and Hinata)..But the rappers also a vocalist as well..All of them are great dancer. XG is a Japanese group base in South Korea,But they’re considered as a global hiphop-RnB group.
FYI, the official MV has subtitles too! These girls actually rap in three languages, English, Japanese, and Korean! "Rock the mic, right" comes from Slick Rick.
