I gazed into his opalescent eyes, my reflection lost in his pupils. I felt so safe with him, like nothing could ever hurt me. He pulled me closer to him, his hand gliding over my waist. Every inch of my body that he touched was riveting. He gently started to caress me, feeling all of my curves. I was still in the midst of disbelief, knowing that I finally made it back to him. It was getting cold outside, to the point where you could see our exhaust in the air. One, thin blanket was protecting us, shielding from the icy breeze. I turned over to see the moonlight, now spooning him. He nudged up against me; there was no space between us. His lengthy arms were wrapped around mine, holding me closely. I looked out past the porch, to see the crisp moonlight shine down on us. There were fields as long as you could see, and if you listened closely you could hear nature's ecosystem. Crickets were softly chirping, and dew was forming on the tips on some grass blades. Fireflies lit up their surroundings, creating a soft glow on the plains. Everything seemed so magical at that moment. I felt so complete with him, something I've never felt before. My heart was finally at rest with the world. "I love you", he whispered.
