Nice video, drive modes are worth the price of admission on a GT premium with active exhaust and/or magma ride. Drag and Track mode are really similar to most tuners base “93” tune.
Thank you very much for actually taking your time to find this information out and not just re wording and reading out of the manual like everyone else does… Thank you very much you effort is very much appreciated.. I’ve noticed something’s as well like tapping the gas in a 10-speed to down shift etc…
Cool video! call me an old soul but as I’ve owned a car with a ton of electronic goodies I’m to the point now where I enjoy less to go wrong. Great burnout too!
Don't forget that the pedal actually feels like it has different modulation for every mode, ie track mode has allot of modulation and sport has very little.
Thank you for watching! Check back this weekend. I am taking the car to dyno is get HP and TQ numbers for Normal, Sport +, and Track to see if there is any actual any difference. Video should be up Saturday if not sooner.
Steering modes for the Boss yes, driving modes not so much. The Boss would need an additional 2 keys (drag race, Snow/rain) plus we had to manually adjust the shock settings. These modes make incremental changes to several systems on the car including the engine mapping. Ford never told us exactly what the Red key did. They just said is does a lot. :)
Thanks for the info so when I get my Mach1 I know what to do. 👍🏻 You should have done the burnout in your neighbor's driveway the ones that went on vacation. They will just blame the daughter's boyfriend for doing it. Just kidding ! 😂
I am one of the organizers for Rally North America. We put on driving events and each summer put on and scavenger hunt for 80+ cars over the course of 3 to 5 days typically covering 1500+ miles, a couple of track events, scenic or historic locations and almost all of it occurs on two lane roads. I have #12 since our inception. Typically I have an entirely different decal kit each year as we rotate charities and sponsors. This company does the decal kits for all 80 cars each year. facebook.com/parallelprintworks
Unfortunately the suspension is NOT configurable in MyMode. Your starting point is whatever mode you’re in, and from there only the steering and exhaust are configurable. So if you want Normal suspension, you’re forced to use Normal throttle response…and also, from what I can tell, you have to use the Normal gauge cluster. Makes no f’ing sense.
@@TonysFordsandMustangs I agree. I’ve been playing around with the modes on my Mach 1, but didn’t know exactly what they were doing. I have been using sport mode mostly as well.

Thank you and I'm sure I have a couple of things wrong on this but the specific information just isn't out there.

I can't speak to the Auto as I have yet to drive one

thank you this is the most complete video and description that I have found and so far the most accurate I would love to know more also

You mentioned it on "My Mode" but doesn't the steering assist get tweaked with the different modes too?
Yes the steering is electrical assist and feel changes with the modes. In "my mode" you can set the steering as you like it.
Boss have standard, comfort, track, and custom driving modes

@@TonysFordsandMustangs changes 200 parameters yada, engine braking, yada, choppy lope, yada yada lol
So there's a list. Why not show us?
I kind of thought the traction control kicked on after the 15-second timer went out but I could be wrong
I wasn't going to stay in that long. The tires were plenty hot.

can u change the My Mode settings when it's in motion (like changing the exhaust to quiet when u hit the interstate)?
That's a good question. I wish I had an answer but I never tried doing that.
gotcha thankx. and in My Mode, what are the different suspension setting options available in the menu?
Who did your number, and why?

Very true. At this point I use the preconfigured modes.

Thank you!
You are welcome. Please don't take it as actual fact. It would be nice if Ford gave us the actual info.
