Disappointed to see the thing that gets the crossover audience from NRB being put behind a paywall. I get it though, money is tight. I subbed to the patreon for a little bit but the rest of the content just went over my head and wasnt worth it for me. In saying that I've learned a lot about wrestling thanks to this being an entry point into it for the uninitiated.

I get the TH-cam Ad revenue thing but as someone who can't sign up to Patreon because their credit card company literally won't let them. I'm starting to feel like there isn't a point staying with this channel any more if literally everything is going to be behind the paywall I can't scale. :(

You guys have been content creators for long enough that you should realize there needs to be a reason to be subscribed to a channel. This channel already has multiple series that only drop 1 episode a month, and the only other reason to be subscribed was for MNW. If that's being taken out of the equation, there's literally no reason to be around.
As these are on Patreon, and presumably not sponsored, would you be able to add extra wrestlers to this? It takes a little prep but as an example I’ve basically downloaded a bunch of wrestler images then filled out created basic CAWs with their names (and hometown), then you just tweak the roster as you start the GM Mode to include the CAWs and double check that they’re an appropriate alignment and type.
Happy to SUPPORT WRESTLETALK and be rewarded with such a fun series. Especially with the years of free content you’ve given us over the years (and continue to give!) Loved the last chance series and can’t wait for this one!
Their solution for not making money on TH-cam is to take away their most popular series and videos that their TH-cam audience actually care about and put then behind a paywall giving people even less of a reason to watch and keep subscribed to their TH-cam channel. Brilliant move.
Their most popular videos were with Adam Blampied, but obviously, he's not with the company anymore. As for the channel, it is only averaging 35k on each video, which is less than half what the main channel does. But doing stuff like this is just going to kill what's left of the channel for some short-term gains, which seems very counterintuitive.

My biggest complaint with Wrestletalks sudden begging for money and hiding more and more behind paywalls is they keep begging for money but keep creating new niche channels and hiring people to make content on those channels. So while i would love to watch this there is no point since every other episode wont be on here.

@jaimiephipps6554 just a quick FYI when some had a difference of opinion to you it doesn't mean I am "rude" and putting something behind a paywall that has in the past been available to everyone is a shitty business practice. TH-cam is always going to be where the mass audience is, and gatekeeping content from your mass audience is a dumb move. Why not have a staggered release date and upload to YT a week of even a month later like most content creators do? Before you say "oh put people won't sign up if they know they will get it for free if they wait" and maybe they will but I see a lot of YT channels that have huge Patreon credits and that's how they operate. I appreciate and understand that you have to earn some money to keep the lights on but gatekeeping content from people who either can't afford to subscribe is frankly shitty. Why not create new content exclusively for Patreon rather than gatekeeping content that was previously available to everyone

The Patreon videos have a link to the hidden TH-cam version of the videos. You can click that, then cast it to your Firestick. I do this while I’m working 😃

My biggest complaint with Wrestletalks sudden begging for money and hiding more and more behind paywalls is they keep begging for money but keep creating new niche channels and hiring people to make content on those channels. So while i would love to watch this there is no point since every other episode wont be on here.
Disappointed this is on patron, I was on patron for years but just couldn't afford it anymore and this is like rubbing salt 8n the wounds, was really excited to see oli play as well 😢

You put this behind a pay wall because "TH-cam revenue" isnt enough, yet other series that get almost the same views arent? If you dont want to do it, just be honest. Thats all we ask. We arent paying more either way

Yeah sorry gents, I'm not forking out money to watch this on Patreon, while I appreciate TH-cam ad revenue sucks, it always has, and it never stopped you putting out this content before. Therefore, this just sounds like a money grab for what has become a popular series. It is sadly, the only content I now watch on WrestleTalk, which I guess means.. I'm done? The channel has slowly changed from what was a hub of entertaining and unique little concepts, to just the news and reviews and little extra things made only to push people to Patreon. I'm well aware that losing a handful of long time free viewers isn't going to hurt you, since you have plenty of people willing to lay down cash for your content now, I'm just a little sad.

We're really gonna make some money, by taking everything the fans actually like about this channel's content, and put it behind a paywall, when we know that we are breaking even at worst!

CutScene is a Luke solo operation if I recall correctly, probably using editors from PartsFunKnown/Wrestletalk. CTRL freaks is literally just the NRB crew. They only fired Ad*m (censored because I don't know if they still auto delete comments with his name), which im sure they regret now knowing he was set up, but they probably felt it was necessary to act because of his previous. Pete left for another job. Dan left to go back to school.
