So good to see you both again. I always enjoy catching up with your news as well as your stitching progress. Safe travels and bring back some new stories to share with us.
Another great video. Great to see you! Love seeing all of your great progress!! Gary I loved the way you explained your non working on Louie!! Gave me a chuckle. Safe travels, Amy!! Look forward your next video!!
Thank you for sharing another video. I enjoy seeing all the stitching. I wish i was structured on a rotation. I look forward to hearing about your trip. Happy Stitching!
If you haven't tried stitching on a rotation, it's worth giving it a go to see if it works for you. If it doesn't, you can always toss it out the window. The important thing is to stitch in whatever way gives you the most enjoyment of this wonderful hobby! :)
Oh goodness! I would welcome any recommendations you have on hotels, restaurants and activities. I feel like I've got a good handle on options in Nairobi and the western/southwestern parts of the country, but the coast is new for me.
Great progress on beautiful design. Come on Gary, Louie really needs some love 💕 I think he’s jealous Wonder Woman is getting all the attention. Will love hearing about trip to Kenya. Happy stitching.
I love watching you and Gary floss tube. He is fun to watch and you have some fun things to say about Kenya. I, of course have never been there. It’s so interesting to hear about another country. And to see pictures. Usually I don’t see anything but on TV showing the sad part, but does end up with them going to school and things. Don’t get me wrong, I love and appreciate everyone that helps this country and children. It’s just interesting to see other parts of Africa. Thanks so much.
I'm so glad you enjoy hearing about my travels and work. There are many challenges that Africans face, but there's also a great deal of good happening across the continent. It's a place of great potential!
Amy, love your progress. Safe travels to and back from Kenya. Gary, keep up the great work on wonder woman. Personally stitching black on white is so tedious that it makes me just want to yawn. So even if you pick Louis for one day a week to keepit active, eventually you'll get to a point that you'll feel good about it and maybe stitch it on it two days a week. And in-between do other projects like wonder woman. Happy stitching and until next happy trails.❤
Oh Gary, poor Louie needs some stitching done asap! Wonder Woman looks great though! I adore Amy’s stitches and her Rose Trellis Inn is stunning❤ I have enjoyed watching your progress over the months! Blessings for safe travels Amy❤ awesome Gary we love seeing you come to life on the channel and yes please send me your money 💰 😂😂😂
I am always in awe at how much progress you have to show us. As always, everything is beautiful. Safe travels to Kenya, and look forward to any pictures you want to share. Summer is so loving and a happy puppy. Cheers Nancy 🇨🇦
Thank you Amy and Gary for your video. Finally catching up (as usual these days) . You have managed so much stitching and fancy lady is beautiful. What a change in the look of wonder woman with skin tone added. I have watched your 2 videos out of order as notifications did not pop in sorry. Hugs to Bear, Sophie and Summer. Happy belated birthday wishes to Sophie.
I just enjoy seeing your comments pop in when you have time to visit with us, out-of-order watching or not. :) By the way, I'm very likely going to be in London in early December for some meetings. Once I know more, I will send you an email, but if you're interested, I thought I'd try to connect with a few folks over there, yourself included. No pressure, but I figured early notice of the possibility might be good. :) Hope you're well and still enjoying those RSN classes!
Super video as always. I bought Colors of Venice and am excited to start it soon, so really enjoy seeing your progress. Have a safe and great trip to Mombasa! Look forward to your trip feedback, I am always interested to hear about your work. Appreciate you guys and the fur babies, and all that you share.
Great to see and hear from the two of you again! I love all three projects that you are stitching on. Taking into consideration the fact that they are large projects, your progress is amazing. I have a soft spot for the Dimensions' cabin, the details are wonderful. And talking about details, isn't it amazing how well Wonder woman looks? I think this is the first small project that I have seen where all the traits on her face are clear and look natural. The project looks better and better. Enjoy a great summer and happy stitching! Oh, a question for the two of you: are you stitching from paper or are you using an app to follow the pattern?
Gary generally stitches from paper, but I stitch from an app as much as possible. In fact, I even go to the trouble of scanning in all my paper patterns so I can use an app. :)
Hi Amy - Hi Gary I love all of your WIPS - Rose Trellis INN is looking so fantastic. I just love this. The Dimensions one is looking really great too. They are both Beautiful Amy. Your Mirabilia one is looking good too. She is so pretty. I love that Yellow on her. Gary - Wonder Woman is looking fantastic - I love her. Gary - I don’t blame you for not wanting to look at an Electronic Device for Stitching. I don’t use Pattern Keeper or Mark Up RXP. I use a paper working copy and mark off my stitches that way. In Mark Up XP - you are only allowed to have 160 patterns in their App and that is it. Amy - Have A Safe Trip to Kenya - your Dogs are going to miss you and so is your husband. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🧵🪡🧵✂️☕️🐾🐶🐾☀️❤️
Hi once again Amy and Gary….I feel a little saddened when you announce that you are traveling once again to Africa. I feel it is a loss to Gary and Sophie, Bear and Summer! I know they manage okay, but I’m sure they are happy when you once again return! It is always a delight when I see you have returned! You are a trooper. But I guess that is why your channel is called THE GLOBE TRAVELING STITCHER! Ha! But I love you stitching , as always, this time. You have quite a few big projects, and it is amazing to me see their progress each time you put out a new video. Gary, I’m rooting for Louis Armstrong…….but it is probably abit tedious w/ no change of colors. But it is amazing to me to see those stitches at random firm that picture. I made a picture of Jesus Christ in black/white…..and it even amazed me when I was finished and it looked like Christ. For the whole time I was stitching I wasn’t sewing what design I was seeing in! Best wishes on your travels!
You're so sweet, Anne. I think Gary and the pack share your feelings, and I know it's especially hard for Bear, who is a mama's boy. Having to be far away from home requires sacrifices from everyone, and even though the work is worth it, I feel bad that my babies don't understand why I'm gone. It really is amazing how much those individual stitches don't look like anything until you take a step back and realize what an amazing picture has been created!
So good to see you both again. I always enjoy catching up with your news as well as your stitching progress. Safe travels and bring back some new stories to share with us.
Thanks for Sharing your wonderful progress!!❤ Safe and happy travels!! And, Happy Stitching 😊!!
WOW! You sure like challenging projects. Enjoyed seeing you & Gary’s stitching. Safe travels. TFS.

Your rose of Sharon is beautiful. Gary Winder Woman is coming along!
I meant Wonder Woman. Gary probably knew that. Lol
Thank you for the video. I love to see you and Gary's stitching. Have a wonderful and safe trip.😊
Hi Gary and Amy! Amy, stay safe in Kenya ♡ Another wonderful flosstube! Love the puppies 🥰

I'm always happy to get up in the morning and find a flosstube from the Globetrotting Stitcher(s).
Oh, thank you so much! That really makes my day!

Yay! It will be fun to know you are stitching on Colors of Venice too! I hope you enjoy it!
And I wanted to comment on your hair. It looks shorter and looks very nice.
Oh thank you! My hairdresser took me a bit shorter than I was expecting, but it turned out to be a happy accident. I'm really enjoying it. :)

Oops……I mean Globe “ trotting” stitcher….not globe traveling stitcher. Sorry……I’m old and getting older by the month!!!
