That shaft straightening was epic 😆
For around 30 years I've been in to the hobby, a piece of loos-leaf paper between spur and pinion has always given me the perfect mesh. ;) Of course, seems almost funny you even care since putting that bent shaft back in, especially with the high speed pinion in there now, but as we all know now, Kevin's gonna do Kevin! lol OH I was happy to see you straightened out the shaft!

Hey Kev. Love your videos! Try self sticking hook-and-loop fastener on each side of the body. That way the body sticks to the sides of the chassis. Especially on 6s (great idea!) you won't get a "parachute effect" and the body won't pop off on hard landings. Keep up the great work!
This video broke me of my want of a basher. One hour of fun, three hours of rebuilding and upgrading. I’m officially old.

Yeah, 6s would be great. I thought mine was fun out of the box,and then I put a castle 5700 and mamba x and it's blowing up tires and I still have the stock 12t pinion on it. I have to put thicker diff lube in to keep the one side from ballooning during acceleration, and it looks pretty easy to get to them, I hope you have fun when you go out

Hey Kev, me and my family plan to start an RC shop sometime this year!!! We’re hoping to make good business because RC is very popular where I live but the nearest RC shop is an hour away from our town. Could you also give any tips on how to lock Traxxas diffs? Even possibly make a video on locking diffs on rc’s.
SameTubby2649 put a silicone ear plug in the diff. Kevin mentioned this in one of his videos.

When I first started the rc hobby me and my little sister both got slashes (she had the 1/16) . She wasn’t old enough to understand the controls so she floored it into a concreate wall and broke the servo. I eventually just bought a new one after a lot of time yelling.
Earned my sub when you bashed the shaft back center, haha awesome!
😁 That hit was hard as HELL!!! Got lucky with that one tap got the shaft straight deal! BEAUTY!!!!!!!!!!

The rpm front bulkhead for the slash 4x4 lcg fits and makes this much stranger and maintenance easier.

I don't know about the part support but you should get a mt410 from tekno. They are amazing no major week spots. I did 30 runs now nothing broke. Nice video
I reccomend doing the metal servo gear upgrade it’s very easy and makes a huge difference

You should look into the VG Racing chassis brace. Potentially could prevent something like this, and it looks cool, too.

I made mine 6s the second I took it out of the box. Things a monster. Geared 17/50 and I cant even give it more than half throttle before it flips. Just a fair warning dont use the self right feature cuz it WILL snap dogbones out of ur driveshafts. Would loveeee to show u my setup!

About shell hard off and in. Add two washers beetween bonet and mounting cage, at first two screws, 1,5 mm making job. After that one hand removal working perfect.

It goes faster with the 17T BUT you've time to go make a coffee as the acceleration is about half what it is on the 11T, you gain top end but the loss of acceleration is dramatic, I'd be interested to see what you think with the 17T on when you run it.
