Lecrae is clever. I think the thing people forget with hip-hop is the use of metaphors. Although this song is about his wife, he is also metaphorically talking about his relationship with Christ. Honouring his wife is also honoruing God. As long as we don't place wives, mothers, fathers etc before Christ it's all good.

they are lol. look up real reviews on them. Most of the weight you feel from them is just plastic and metal designed to make it just feel good. It's been proven that there are WAY more headphones out there for even cheaper that sound tons better. I don't think the most expensive headphones from beats would be nearly as good as the $200 pair lecrae is wearing in the video.

Yeah there's more to life then the Gospel but that should be the foundation of any choice in life really. So really the Gospel is life.Tho everything else I agree with tho it leaned to a more "worldly" type of vibe. I think he mentioned God once. Ya love your spouse but I think he chose a very wrong hook/chorus to convey that to God's people. Because we need God more than ANYTHING. Lecrae is still a Christian, and is still doing the work of God. He's just trying to reach different people now. In rebel and his other albums, he was mainly talking to the church. But now he's been called to reach people outside of the church. That's what he's doing. And it's obvious it's working because God hasn't put a stop to it yet. If God wasn't pleased with him then he would shut him and Reach Records down, but they have done nothing but grown in God. And Adam Young of Owl City is a Christian but he does nothing but clean music, but if you ask him then he'll tell you about Jesus and that he's a Christian. Same for Daughtry. They were all called for different things.

Lecrae is still a Christian, and is still doing the work of God. He's just trying to reach different people now. In rebel and his other albums, he was mainly talking to the church. But now he's been called to reach people outside of the church. That's what he's doing. And it's obvious it's working because God hasn't put a stop to it yet. If God wasn't pleased with him then he would shut him and Reach Records down, but they have done nothing but grown in God. And Adam Young of Owl City is a Christian but he does nothing but clean music, but if you ask him then he'll tell you about Jesus and that he's a Christian. Same for Daughtry. They were all called for different things.
