I have a 2007 jeep commander. It doesn’t have a QD2 and either the button to put all 4x4 works. So how it works in my jeep.

Mine came in full time 4x4 , no buttons always on . Perhaps yours is the same

I'm in Minnesota, mine is 4x4 and have no issues driving in the snow, two or 3 foot of snow, no problem.
