Function test of the Novation Impulse 61 MIDI controller. Both USB and MIDI cable attached (synth/piano). Arpeggiator demo. Synth: Yamaha Reface CS Piano: iGrand Piano (iPhone app) #Novation #keyboard #midi
Not sure what DAW or software your running cos its on midi not Mixer on the top left? As for comments below its a decent keybed similar if not the same as the NI S mk2 range except the Impulse does have aftertouch. As for working with a DAW I use Cubase/Nuendo 12 and after some Midicc configuration its superb !!! I changed the pads to cc not notes and they act as buttons with the knobs for mixer/vst/channel strip control. The way I have mine configured is the faders and mute/solo work in the DAW mixer with the pads/knobs controlling the deeper parameters. I have the pads to change tracks zoom in/out open/close lower mixer panel and one dedicated specifically to the mapping pages with the knobs assigned accordingly. I have another page specifically for Nuendo QC keys. Its a dream to work with once you have set it up properly and this is as date of comment, 22/10/2023 forget its 10 years old its still a great keyboard
@@marmitaa8619 Hi there. I don't own this keyboard but it is advertised as having 'semi-weighted keys' which is different to hammer action. If you are looking for the absolute best type of action for piano playing then this is not it. This is more a 'jack of all trades' for music production. You might want to look into digital pianos like the ranges from Roland, Kawai, Yamaha etc. Most of them have USB midi also.
Welcome! I would like to know how the faders and the rotary knobs can be coordinated with the fruity loop???

Is the keybed as bad as it sound in your test?? It seems as clicky as my old CASIO CT-X800.
I noticed it too! I hope is the mic he used to record!
Can you tell me if it shows the selected channel/vst name in the display? Thanks
Que versátil el controlador
Hello sir, i have a question. How to bank a sound?

Does it work on Any VST? And DAW?
Trae sonidos? 😢
Como são as teclas
Will this work on Mainstage 3?
Have you bought this? If so how strong are the weighted keys. I'm looking into this to see if this has "hammer-type" keys.
