I think you idealize the past plus in those days there was way more freedom. In some ways it was easier to live...minus racism. nowadays in this corporate hellhole it is illegal to be homeless. This modern era is so dystopic down to the millah penny. I feel Americans are not good at math specifically exponential functions and proportions. This is why there is tension between generations. Like on the job site you will compartmentalize me to the point that at the end of the stint of employment I will walk away with nothing still working at the bottom. I think if we stopped the yankee wars and paid better you would have to turn people away. Tribalism will tear this country apart.... More beatings til the moral improves.
