As a Canadian and member of NATO I'm proud to call all of these nations and their people my friends and allies. But we must not forget that NATO is not a military forces but a peace alliance we must begin to organize ourselves and create a united plan to defeat our enemies in the war which is not far in the distant future. I must also add that many of our NATO allies no in Europe or North America were not mentioned like Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and Taiwan as well as others these must also be included in the strength of NATO.

Currently, there are soldiers who are alive and actively fighting only in Turkey and USA. In other countries; there are soldiers who have only been trained or who have participated in only a few conflicts. Some may not even have participated in the conflict.
However, Turkish soldiers have been fighting every day for the last 30 years. They experience hot contact on multiple fronts. They have been fighting against different terrorist groups for many years, especially in Iraq and Syria. The sad thing is; this information is not available on a lot of sources.
In my opinion, soldiers who kill a certain number of enemies each year should not be compared in this way with other soldiers. I respect everyone's opinion.
Fair point, Afghanistan has the most experience fighters in modern warfare but only on home ground !
turkish sldiers never faced an organized army.and you can see that even insyria although turkey has the advantage even with the use of drones they still having hige loses and still trying to win.an experience soldier is not the one return to turkey in coffin but the ones that come back alive and the turksih coffins parade every month on turkey.not to mention that even with the supposed experience army that turkey has it always end up on the last places on snipers,airand navy exercise scenarios.with their supposed experience thay should be on the top 5 not on the last 5
@@user-si8cf2we5w Libya and Armenia as organized army; on the topic of snipers, 2 Turkish team won respectively first and 3rd place in the "2021 European Best Sniper Team Competition", airforce and navy readiness level is more than 90 percent which is as you can see pretty impressive, in syria the most losses were due to su1c1de bombers, guerilla warfare, still managed to seize the land and protected its own borders and country. Piecekeeping missions on cyprus, libya, qatar, bosnia, albania, kosovo; military operations on syria and Iraq, In NATO Turkish army in charge of the nato forces in Kosovo peacekeeping groups, takes charge or response maritime components this year (2023), takes the command of ironically; High Readiness Joint Task force in 2021. Umm, if they are NOT in the armed forces yet, how do you count them? even now, in December 2023, it is 18 Rafale. you cannot count the F16 Viper as EXTRA, since they are CONVERTED from the current stock. When did Greece buy Gowind Corvettes? They are still looking to CHOOSE between the French and Italian, and it looks like there is not enough $$ to go around and may end up having as an interim soltion the LCS from USA. So, do NOT count your eggs before you have them.

All NATO armies are of a high standard and meet the highest requirements. No Russian army here.
most of the Turkish army professional soldiers, 40 + years guerilla and asymetric warfare in urban and harsh conditions like snowy mountain peaks,caves and forest, not well equipped random people, professional soldiers fought in every corner of the Turkey,syria iraq for years, there is a proverb ; we Turks are not a nation with army,Turks are army with a nation.
Training, which is almost the same all round and hard to measure, doesn’t matter nearly as much as industrial output, industrial sovereignty and savoir faire.

The U.K. and the US has the trident submarine system this pretty much ends any hopes for any nation who overestimates their military capabilities. One U.K. nuclear submarine can carry up to 10 missiles each missile has 5 warheads each with the power of eight Hiroshima bombs.

French sub SNLE has 16 missiles M51 now with 10 warheads each. each M51 is like 1000 Hiroshima. Typical anglosphere to forget that French have more nukes than UK... there are 3 nuke powers in NATO and it's pretty sure that french will hesitate FAR LESS than USA nor UK to use them because France is in the european continent, when UK and sure USA are not. Suez affair has proven all that USA will NEVER risk NY for Paris, Berlin or Wien... UK will never risk London either. It's logic, they are both protected by sea and have zero chance to be invaded. If Russian were to invade the continent, they will help to defend but once the conventional war is finished by a russian victory, they will just sign peace. French will never accept a new occupation, better death than slavery. A russian invasion of europe means a french using their nuuke to obtain a fatal draw. Uk and USA haven't the same nuke detrrence policy which suit them better but therefore make them "weaker" or more cautious than France when it's about to use them. The USSR plans of invasion of Europe postwar, released after berlin wall falling, shows that Soviets were more aware of the French nukes and armies than US/UK ones. They know that in case of conventional war, the victory would be easy.. excepted that France was a true enigma and french nukes a true nightmare/threat. In the soviet plan, all of them : their armies had orders to stop before entering in France and to have constant negociations with France during any of their offensives. France had already informed US/UK/all NATO and Soviets that in case of a breakthrough of mechanised soviet armies in the fulda plain, then France would use tactical nukes on german soil as final warning to stop offensive... final warning before using strategical nukes. It's a harsh position, but France had to have this posture towards soviets. Soviets were better understanding french meaing since part of their counttries have been harshly occupied by Nazis in WWII... They knew what the word occupation means, UK/USA never knew occupation as french and soviet people knows. Poland and other eastern europeans understand as well as French this word. They do prefer the french policy towards soviets than the graduate answer policy the US/UK were promoting. France call it the dissuasion nucléaire totale... or complete nuke answer. if your opponent you are able to give him so much destruction and pain, superior of what an invasion would bring as benefits, then it avoid the invasion in its first place. I DO agree with the policy of my country, even if it means end of humanity, I prefer to dead free than to be a slave (again). Everyone are warned. the surrender/armistice thing with an occupation and puppet gov will not arrive again in France. NEVER.

First ranking I've seen. Not bad. One thing is that there a different types of helicopters, and often each military branch has them. I'm no expert, but I never heard of Air Force helicopters, but they must have some types. But Army, Navy, and Coast Guard each have their own.

Viviamo in tempi complessi oserei dire difficili ed estremamente rischiosi, detto ciò significa che l'esperienza e la competenza delle forze armate è una cosa necessaria, alla luce dei recenti sviluppi io non mi farei tante illusioni sono certo della competenza delle forze armate della NATO ma sarei più tranquillo al riguardo su una maggiore coordinamento delle varie risorse umane, sul essere pronti al peggio e come deterrente ad un incremento del 50% delle forze nei prossimi Cinque anni, con un occhio di riguardo ai settori della cyber difesa e del controspionaggio, meglio prevedere lo scenario peggiore, so di essere pessimista ma questa storia parte da lontano con l'intento di destabilizzare l'Europa dall'interno e non solo noi vediamo gli Stati Uniti, non oso pensare che cosa potrebbe succedere alle prossime elezioni come dicevo è un comune denominatore. La mia è solo un opinione e di certo c'è chi ha un quadro più completo, orrendo rivedere la guerra in Europa, chi non impara dalla storia e costretto a riviverla.
Ma no la NATO per diventare più forte deve continuare a dare tutte le risorse all'Ucraina. Poi la NATO si difenderà con i tamburi africani

As a Turkish person, I must say that Turkey's current military is quite powerful for an initial attack. However, in a situation where the war prolongs and resources are depleted, it is not capable of replacing the losses with new ones. Therefore, in the later stages of the war, Turkey will need the industrial capacity of allied countries. In fact, many countries in NATO are in a similar situation.
Noone country in NATO has the capacity or indrustrial indepedence to do an Offensive move.
That's why Türkiye is building in-house capabilities such as MBT Altay, ATAK helicopters, ship building, UAVs, etc. In a few years the country will be able to supply its Armed Forces without significant help from abroad.

It would be interesting to rank the likes of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, South Africa, Israel, India and Pakistan against these individual states. Not surprised to see Turkey ranked so high, but Greece and Romania's level of armament is interesting, to say the least. Romania looks rather imposing on paper, but I know that most of their weapons are a bit outclassed by most of their NATO brethren. Poland is in the process of a radical military modernization and build-up. Within 5 years they will most likely have the most powerful European NATO land force. They're neglecting their naval forces, however, and France and UK will still probably rank ahead of them at that time due to their superior navies.

What utter rubbish. The US would like thousands of men are aircraft in the first few hours as their bases in Europe are overrun. Then all the Eurooeans have tobdobis hold the US at base ( very possible considering the size of Europe) until they can recruit more men abd put their industry into full war out put. In the end weight of numbers would tell. The only way the US could win would be to knock out Europe in a matter of weeks and with the lose of so many men and equipment with their bases being overrun I do not think they could achieve that. Europe might appear weak compared to the US but in a war lasting years I do not think the US would prevail.
