Great video ! But how did you manage to fly the drone in Polonnaruwa? I was denied. And that drone shot of the elephant, was that in a reserve ? or a roadside sighting ? :)

Great video! Sri Lanka looks incredible. I'm thinking of going in a month's time. How did you find bringing a drone there? Was it easy?
You should definitely go! Carrying the drone around wasn't hard. Always ask around before flying it and if you do, make sure you aren't flying it around people. We had complaints et warnings but most of the time, there wasn't anyone around. Get a permit if possible!
Thank you! Did you get a permit? I had a look and it looked like quite a complicated process so I wasn't sure whether to or not.
You can come to Sri Lanka with a Drone without any issue. Just don't fly it over people, pvt properties and sacred places. In most of the public places, Drones are ok to fly and if not you can get a permission for a very low price. see u soon!

Hi drones are not allowed in the country currently. They have a Marriott Hotel in Weligama. You must visit this year.
