This drama is a hidden gem. Everything are fabulous.
演員很認真演出原著細膩的感情，服化道很講究，劇情鋒回路轉。
我看知微失憶把和寧奕的記憶代入晉思羽那裡的時候哭了。真的感覺到知微對寧奕的愛，我覺得這裡是倪妮演的最好的地方。

It's actually finished airing in China and now available on Netflix(netfilx offers one free month trial) for viewing, please go view on some official sites to support this drama, it casts and crews. It's such a good, well made, well acted drama, but due to poor tv station editing/cut and viewing ship. Many audiences missed such a great work. Please support good and ethical production for possible future better quality drama. Thank you very much.

我看了三遍，前半段看了很愉悅，後段很沉重，不愛看。陳坤演技沒話說，這戲像為倪妮打造，妮扮男，英氣逼人（是現今看到女扮男裝最好的一個），回女裝，又嫵媚溫柔。唯編劇與剪輯很差，故事情節迤沓，有些鏡頭根本沒意義。剪輯明明一個或兩個鏡頭就可帶過，卻需三四個鏡。濃縮成5至60集會更好，十個皇子也太多了吧！可惜了這麼好的演員。

Grateful for the subtitles. Still wishing that we can get a proper ending for this amazing drama like in the novel. Anything other than Feng Zhiwei and Ning Yi being together happy in the end is unacceptable to me. They deserve to have a happy ending after everything they went through or else it just makes everything seem meaningless.
A purely happy ending would be too easy to be credible in this difficult environment.
An open ending could work.
@@stellasonabilis9884 Except it isn't an open ending, and it doesn't stay true to the source material which provided a better ending.

Two extraordinary people and a relationship that is "mythical" in many ways, and the drama dismantles everything. Towards the end, they both lose the qualities and powers that made them special. Their "phoenix nature" goes out, their love plunges into toxic filth and ends up clinically dead.
And the final scene with its "state moral" lines tries to justify all that.
It's hard to bear.
But a clear happy ending would feel strange IMO.
The novel's ending is strange as well. They leave the plot, within which there is no solution. They wander as strangers into a world that always has food and all the comforts for them. They literally have nothing to do but make love.
This is clearly a fantasy world.
For a story from wuxia genre, it's ok.
However, the drama takes a much more realistic approach. Such an escapist ending would be incongruous and "cheap".
Not least because the hero & heroine in the drama harbor political visions.
And honestly, I can't imagine an ending with wedding bells after so much tragedy and death.
Open ending, maybe.
But the story would have to be told differently from Ep60 at the latest.
@@stellasonabilis9884 An open ending would have been preferable to the ending that we got in the drama. The ending completely negates and dismisses all the countless lives sacrificed so Feng Zhiwei could live, not to talk of that it went against her very characterization. Some people need an ending not to be happy, because to them it feels realistic. I do not agree with that way of thinking. If the ending makes sense, what is wrong with two people who have lost so much, gone through so much being able to have their own version of "happily ever" if you will? It is myopic to think otherwise as far as I am concerned. It also comes across as tragedy for the sake of tragedy which is never a draw.
@@Naijagyal01 "Happily ever after" in the sense of "living in a cabin in the woods" makes little sense for these types of personalities. A fulfilling and meaningful life does, even if it is dangerous and difficult.
Roughly what they had in Minhai, plus of course, they can have each other.
Would that be a happy ending?
Or rather an open one?

Gu Nanyi is cute too but I cannot figure out who hired him. Honestly, I would have recognized Zhi Wei to be a female so it is perplexing how everyone is deceived into believing she is a boy. I wish Zhu Yin, one of my favorites, had not died so early in this story, so sad.

這劇的結局太不合情理，有人看了應會跳水吧？鳳知微一定得跳崖輕生嗎？秋明櫻臨死矚咐她要好好活著；豔妃叫楚王要遠離朝堂做個平民，二人都這麼愛他們的母親，違背母意豈非不孝？以二人的智慧，最好的結局應是鳳知微詐死，與寧奕遠走他方，將皇位讓於十皇子（辛子硯的安排），可見寧奕並沒真正愛她。其二，顧南衣不總說「妳在哪，我在哪」，那如姐如弟二人就快意江湖去吧！天大地大，自由自在，不也是鳳知微從小的願望嗎？其三，這劇兩位主角糖發的太少，無法吸引年輕人，看看同樣是倪妮演的「宸汐緣」，甜得後面一堆人追呢！
