  • Großer Ahornboden (The Big Maple Ground) is a nature reserve and protected area. It is regarded by many as the most beautiful place in Tyrol. You find 2500 Marple threes in this area, some over 500 years old. It is a nature lover’s paradise and the perfect destination for any cyclist that wants to experience something extraordinary without steep gradients. The ride starts on the dam of one of the most beautiful lakes in Germany, the Sylvenstein Lake. From the dam, you move on to a beautiful bridge with amazing views of the lake and the mountains in the background. You ride along a beautiful azure-colored river and the gradients are easy. Further up the road, you ride from Germany into Austria. The beautiful Karwendel Mountains surround you, making this ride pure bliss. After the tollbooth, the landscape opens up with a pasture full of maple trees. Many cows roam this area, making the ride a real alpine experience. You end in front of Eng Alm, a paradise for hikers.

    Take your indoor cycling to the next level and bike the world at your own speed:
    Dive into an immersive indoor cycling experience with our training app ’Open Road’ for PC. The app lets you take control of the speed of our cycling videos and provides a better and more realistic indoor cycling experience compared to our ride-along videos on TH-cam. The app is compatible with all ANT+ cycling devices, including smart trainers, power meters, and speed sensors. Athletes with spinning and exercise bikes without ANT+ compatibility can control the speed manually and enjoy riding with all the important cycling data displayed during the training session.

    Just add music:
    Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is outstanding. But when it comes to music, opinions are very mixed. This is why we haven’t added music and why we recommend adding your favorite music to the ride. It is quite simple. Mute TH-cam and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, TH-cam, etc…) and pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride...

    This is awesome! I really enjoyed the wind & bird sounds, too. Almost made me forget I was on a stationary bike in my basement.

    That is one beautiful ride, thanks for sharing. Actually preferred riding it with the natural sounds of the world around you than doing it with music - made it more authentic and real. 👍

    Thanks for your videos. They really motivate me for my winter spinning training sessions. Love this one particularly, with natural ambient sounds. Hope you’ll make more of these.
    If I can make a suggestion for future videos: I don’t know where exactly you live in Europe but I’d love videos of rides along Bodensee or the Black Forest in Germany, or the Danube or the Inn in Austria. Thanks again!

    Awesome ride! Loved the late 60's early 70's BMW convoy. Is it possible to ride when there's a vintage VW (50's 60's) convoy?

    • @BiketheWorld
      @BiketheWorld  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is close to Munich, home to BMW :-) Not sure about the VW's...

      I love these videos and never pay much attention to the oncoming traffic, but I noticed those vintage BMW's. It certainly took me back.
