Dang tough break. Would've like to have seen them kick it and take it to overtime but I understand the decision to try the 2pt conversion and end it there. Liberty played a heck of a game and honestly I think even with the loss they can hold their heads high. Their defense looked really good all game and their offense came alive in the second half. Had it gone to OT think LU would have pulled out the W. Maybe the ACC should consider adding Liberty. Lately they've played competitively with the teams as the 3 ACC losses they've had in the past 3 seasons have come from a combined 5 points.
They are the best football team in Virginia. Better than Virginia tech or UVA.
similar to the NC State game loss a couple years ago when we HAD IT! #17 was wide open but Yarborough just didn't look; it's almost like he made up his mind to run it because #17 clearly looked like he was hesitating and then slicing to the corner of the endzone for a pass and the WF defender was at least two steps behind him. Ahhhhhhhhhh!!! Oh well. Still so proud of my LU boys for a great effort. Gives me hope we can beat either BYU, ARK or VaTech and improve on last year's record.
We’ll beat Virginia tech, it's a home game and VT is not the program it once was. BYU and Arkansas will be a lot harder
His mind was made up to run as if the opening was there. I know it’s tough in the game time, split second situations but that was for sure 2 pts had the throw (& catch) was made. Oh well, the upside is definitely there for LU. We’ll see how they finish.
From 10-0 in the 2nd to 30-23 in the 4th quarter, somehow I feel like the 'full game highlights' are a tiny bit less of a 'full game highlights' video than the title wants us to believe.

We def didn’t bring our A game tonight. Liberty had a great game plan, and handcuffed us into having to throw the ball all night…. Liberty is going to be really good in a couple years. Hugh Freeze Is a heck of a coach!
We’ve been good for the past couple of years. 3 consecutive bowl wins. Wins over ACC teams and the losses to other ACC teams were by 1 or 2 points. Played ole miss at ole miss and lost by a TD or two. Our QB went drafted in the 3rd round. Hugh Freeze is the only reason we are where we are

@@godeacs358 we know it is going to happen at some point. My roommate played on the team and said only way he’ll leave is if Tennessee offers him or if another offer is too good to pass up. He has already declined multiple teams and is getting PAID at Liberty. Plus power 5 teams are weary of hiring him bc of his past. I’ll give it 2-3 years before he leaves, maybe not even that long unfortunately

Liberty had #17 wide open on the Philly special. Not sure why the WR did not throw it. Heck of a battle.
Because the play was to throw it to the qb, and he didn't check the progression / 2nd option running across.

@@gregg48 nobody wants to sit and watch a highlight reel for about 30 minutes when they can make a quality video in like 12 minutes
@@kellyjameric it's almost like you don't realize the ACCN highlights are always ~3 min, the condensed game ~25-30 min, and there's no in-between. They've been doing it that way for years.

@@kellyjameric i don't disagree, but they now release the 3-ish minute highlights and the entire condensed game very quickly after the game is over...I just wish they would do a better job uploading in 1080p. The NFL does a really good job with the 12-15 min highlights, ACC could easily do that if they wanted to.

Let’s go deacs I was at the game our defense didn’t do great but they saved our buts
I think our defense played awesome in the first half…. 1 defensive breakdown in the second half led to that score…. And the other was just a fluke honestly…. I think our offense played terrible. Too many penalties and errant throws. Going to be way better this weekend if we have a chance against Clemson.

It definitely sucks for your team to lose but they definitely fought harder than WF. Hartman is a whiner. There should of been no unnecessary roughness or defensive pass interference called against Liberty. Those calls gave WF the win.
