I think the song just gave a little motivation why he drove to almost cry but I think what made him cry is the fans that singing while he is playing the piano. The appreciation , the warmness and the love of fans are definitely the reasons why he almost broke into tears. His fans love him so much. I am a fan and I love him too.
In my opinion the tears that formed in his eyes were because it was more personal he lost his mother when he was I believe 5 years old. He never knew her but he yearns for her. I saw a documentary him talking about her and he almost killed me when he expressed how he felt he vaguely remembers her . Bogummie_ 99 👍🏻 saw one of his interviews.. on a talk show i think.. accdg to him it was his first talk show... anyhow he was asked if he could play the piano and he said he could play a little... obviously, it is an understatement from him.. he even played the cello in one of his series... such a down to earth guy.. i think that's one of the things that fans love about him. that smile is absolutely contagious. he is indeed a blessing and maybe he doesn't even know that. ☺️
