    Two of my favorite stones, and I have a lot. I wish Norton didn't lock up the Washita mine, just so they could sell their other products, which cost much less to produce. You can still buy used ones, but the Lily White quality are getting pretty expensive.

    Washita = Wah-She-Taw is how you pronounce this AR stone. I live in Arkansas. That Norton seems to really cut SS knives really fast.

    What grit is your washita finished at ? Beautiful stones , especially the washita . Have you honed any straight razors on a washita , Arkansas progression ?

      220 SiC abrasive grain on glass. I did experiment with straight razors in the past but not recently.
