Great interview. These are the kind of interviews that most Ghanaians need especially those abroad. I reside in the UK and work as a Business Analyst with my Ghanaian degree certificate and a little 10 weeks training (2 days in a week), and it’s been superb and fulfilling. In the UK, a BA can make as much as b/n 450 to 900 pounds per day. I laugh when I find myself in the midst of some Ghanaians and all you hear is shift work. Pls let’s learn and follow who know road. Connect with guys like this man and well meaning individuals. I started as a night shift worker in a grocery store, worked in IKEA but I had to challenge myself and have an open mind. Trust me you can live good if you want to. It’s all about choices that you make in life. Kudos host!

I tell Ghanaian people this. You can use your Ghanaian certificate to get a job. You don’t have to settle for less. I Got a job earning almost 6 figures, less than 2 years after arriving in America. I have never sat in an American classroom but work a good job. Sadly I am the only African in a company with over 6000 employees. When I tell other Ghanaians to apply for jobs there, they give excuses upon excuses. I don’t know if it’s lack of confidence or what. The only thing they know is envy the Nigerians who do well here. They think the Nigerians are too known meanwhile they work with their brain with confidence not their strength.

I am proudly cleaning toilets in Austria. I own a cleaning company and make 3 figures. I have made more than a million since I started over 5 years. It was easy to start up the company. Even though cleaning is not physically easy but definitely worth it. It’s time ghanaian people wake up and stop shaming jobs while they earn 2000 highest working In corporate jobs whiles the so called jobs are earning 10 x more than them.
At a point in time I earn 12000€ from 1 client (hotel cleaning) a month and I had 70 clients. Imagine the Cashflow. Wake up. You have slept for too long.
Of course if you clean alone you won’t go far but if you have 5 workers, you can go far. Just figure out how to get clients and even that is easy because if you do it well, you automatically get plenty Referalls. Start alone and get workers as the demand grows. Those who have ears will hear.

Before one break the public sector into 2 halves (2 parts), retain one half and send the other half to where, this practice is not new, Ghana a country has practice before. What we need to do as a country create an enabling environment for it citizens to thrive. The guy did not mention what the other half is going to do. Analysis should always be complete. The key is this Ghanaians back home should always see Ghanaian abroad as their brothers and sisters. The home and abroad should work together, this is what the Chinese do.
