I have loved your time with Stacey and Peter. Their excitement has been passed on to us as they experience things for the first time. When the bells at the Minster were ringing, it made me feel emotional. How can a train only be stationary for less than 2 minutes, it's crazy.
Think the train was running late so had to get off quickly. We just werent thinking about it all properly. The train behind us was also going to Kings cross and had been sat in the station for half an hour so we just thought there would be some time to get them on, say goodbye and leave
I just saw that. Wondered if that was what it was. I took two photos in Venice of a very old wooden with paintings walk thru. One had a lot of orbs, the other none. I took a photo in Hampton Court palace and one had a child jester coming thru a doorway with 2 steps. I never saw him. A few years later I went to check out that doorway, there wasn’t one. I need to bring it back there to ask about it.
Oh no guys! One minute at the station wasn’t long. My Auntie in her late 70s did the same. She ended up at Warrington from Runcorn but was glad it wasn’t a direct train to Glasgow! Wishing you a lovely Christmas & New Year. Absolutely loved Stacey and Peter.
Awe York Castle Museum brought back so many happy memories, took my kids on holiday there when they were little. So many great things to see and learn. Xx
That large church you are showing has a distinct French design influence, the same design the Disney Imagineers borrowed to design Cinderella's castle in the Magic Kingdom.

Not exactly to us, but to a bunch of people from Japan. They asked us in a panic IS THIS THE TRAIN BACK TO CENTRAL LONDON, YES YES YES we said as we ran along the platform! We seen the sign just in time (to WIMBLEDON!) We jumped off! They didn’t make it! We just pretended to look at our phones, as the train sped off.😕
I actually told my sister about your plight, and after she said OMG, she immediately said OH LORD, THOSE POOR TOURISTS, DO YOU REMEMBER, WE SENT THEM TO WIMBLEDON 😐🤭
What an unexpected adventure there at the end! But before that, lots of really fascinating things to see in York. The Minster does look very impressive, with lots of fascinating things to see inside.

Just found your channel and catching up. This vlog was brilliant. Very Christmasy and brought back memories of my trip to York in 2022. I did a ghost hunt in the York museum until the early hours of the morning. Lights switched off in the cell areas, in the old fashioned street etc. spooky! Thank you for a great vlog. I’ll try and binge watch as many as I can! Safe travels 😊
The exact same thing happened to my Dad in the 90’s. He was helping my Auntie and I on to a train from Newcastle to London, minute later the train starts moving. My Mam was left stood on the platform without the car keys to get home. He ended up having to get off at York, run over the bridge and back on another train back to Newcastle. We never let him forget, even to this day! 😂

We took 10 kids on holiday to London from Scotland, decided the tube and train was too stressful so took direct coach back to Airport - yip nearly missed flight. We were running with kids following through airport, security was helping us put stuff back in kids bags. Made it to plane just as they were about to close door. Oh the good old days! 🤣 Wouldn't get away with any of it now! 😜xx

We were all in the Florence Italy train station an hour early waiting for the train. I was watching the time and noticed another train with a lot of people. I checked real fast and they had moved our train. I yelled at them to hurry up that’s our train and we just made it. I also was alone at a stopover in Houston TX, found my gate, went for something to eat, they changed the gate. As I was waiting at the new gate I noticed my city wasn’t mentioned so I got up and checked the big board and it was moved again.
Omg 😂 I thought immediately, wow you're brave getting on the train and going to the seat to say goodbye 🙈. When is a train. Ever direct and doesn't stop 🤣🙈 in this country. My husband and I were once going to Newcastle from Darlington with our baby and got on southbound and ended up at York by accident, not quite so bad 😂

Most bodies last at most 50 years, but if they are imbombed. Even bones may have turned to dust at over 100 years. If anything, a skull or say a hip bone may remain.

Similar thing happened to me, I got on a direct train to London from Leicester instead of being able to get off in Kettering. They let me return for free but my then 2 year old was having a melt down at the time we pulled into London.

Yes we really enjoyed it. You could easily spend most of the day in the Minster exploring. Your tickets last for a whole 12 months and you can go back as many times as you want
Omg this was us last boxing day,got a flight to Paris waited for the train to disney lol was rushing got on the wrong train ended up in BELGIUM €200 6 hrs later got to our hotel lol
When I was going back to uni (many years ago!) my mum got on the train at Cleethorpes and it went!! Luckily she was able to get off at Grimsby and my dad picked her up so she didn't go very far - unlike you two!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great vlog guys but a couple of things; if it was a closed platform like you mentioned in the first vlog with Stacey, how did yous manage to get onto the platform with them if you didn’t have a ticket and also, you mentioned five suitcases but when they came through the turnstile on the other vlog, they didn’t have five cases with them?
They left from a different station to the one we picked them up from. York isnt a closed station. They had 3 suitcases and some bags, think thats where nick is getting the number 5 from 🤔

Hi leigh and nick hope you both, have a wonderful Christmas n fancy getting struck on the train 😂 mind you it's not really funny as couple occasions I nearly got struck in Birmingham... firstly all, the trains from Birmingham Moor Street were, not running due to flooding on the train track n I had to get a train from New Street station Birmingham n second time, was getting a train from Birmingham International train station n got told it, might be not running n after 2 hours, the train was running n on both occasions I did panic a bit, thinking how I'm going to get home n it help my anxiety levels
I so so envy you guys going to York Castle Museum went there a few times as a Kid Once with Family & then School went about 14 years ago with my Ex its changed a lot I most admit but the Street I so love could spend all day in there PMSL I've been down most of the day but you 4 have cheered me up PMSL going London where you wasn't planning to go to yes Only you two I can't wait for next Vlog now all the best David x

The museum you went to looked fantastic. If we go back to York will definitely go there. I loved the Viking ride there and the Minster is beautiful.

Yes, it was £16 to go into the Minster which includes the tour and tickets last for 12 months and you can go back as many times as you like

Hi leigh and nick hope you both, have a wonderful Christmas n fancy getting struck on the train 😂 mind you it's not really funny as couple occasions I nearly got struck in Birmingham... firstly all, the trains from Birmingham Moor Street were, not running due to flooding on the train track n I had to get a train from New Street station Birmingham n second time, was getting a train from Birmingham International train station n got told it, might be not running n after 2 hours, the train was running n on both occasions I did panic a bit, thinking how I'm going to get home n it help my anxiety levels

I so so envy you guys going to York Castle Museum went there a few times as a Kid Once with Family & then School went about 14 years ago with my Ex its changed a lot I most admit but the Street I so love could spend all day in there
