I remember when my oldest grandson who is autistic started pre school. I was a wreck worrying about him having a melt down. He got off the bus soooo happy. Best thing for him. I worried for nothing. It kills us more than them.❤

My kids are grown now, but I remember those school days very well because I hated it when summer was over and school started. Loved all my kids at home!

Oh my goodness they all did so well it appeared. Cannot lie I teared up. You did better than I did when my kids first entered school age. I blubbered for 15 to 20 minutes that first day for all 3 of my kids. Then when my oldest son turned 19 he enlisted into the Air Force and I sobbed too and from the Detroit, Michigan airport which was a 3 hr ride one way. And now he is 42 yrs old and just retired from that airport. I of course am only 29 yrs old LOL.....
I lied I just turned 60 in May. I had him when I was 17 almost 18 yrs old. Hold onto them babies as long as you can bc it goes by so fast.
Praying Griffin is doing well from his surgery.

You're such a great mom Emily. You're so protective of all your little ones. It must be so much harder when you know the twins aren't really verbal, so you won't know how their days go unless someone tells you, and you hope to believe them. My granddaughter (2) had a traumatic birth and still doesn't speak. I don't want to leave her with anyone because she has no way to defend herself. My heart understands yours and breaks for you. Hang in there sweetie. Lots of love,

My son started kindergarten last year and I cried almost every day for months after I dropped him off at school. And then Covid came and he was home from March until the end of the year! So far ,we are online schooling this year. I’m not sure if he’s gonna go back this year, maybe after January. He’s doing great online! And of course, I’m so happy to have him home❤️

Omg Sawyer looked just like Harrison. I cried 6years ago when my oldest started Kindergarten he was so excited he wore a super man shirt. He rode the bus. I called off work that day to be home to get him off the bus on that day I think I sat at the drop off and cried for 10 mins. You have to let them go. It is scary. But they need it. Here in Ohio we are all virtual. It’s not too bad accept my 12 didn’t want to get dressed and have class in his boxers I was like absolutely not. It such a weird time right now. Good job guys. Lovely couple. Great parents. Next week will be even harder. But imagine how much you’re going to get done now. Lol and the peace. For a little bit. Lol. 💜

My grandsons, who are both on the spectrum, also would only eat either fruit or homemade gluten free pizza. NOTHING else. My daughter got so frustrated with the school district because they wrote her up for not providing varied and balanced meals for the children. Tried to push her to purchase the school lunch but the boys wouldn't eat any of that ever and they can't have anything gluten. It took an entire school year to get the teachers OFF HER CASE about it.
