- Laughter Yoga is great for your internal organs. This is a video of Beverly Dunford doing a Laughter Yoga Conference Call. First we choose a word for the day and then we laugh it out to the world simply by just laughing with the other people on the call. Hearing each other laughiing spurs on more laughing and soon you feel a hearty heart felt laugh! PEACE and GRATITUDE are the two most common words we laugh out to the world. After 15 minutes of laughter we tone for 3 minutes and then we sing a little song to the tune of SHORTING BREAD that has these lyrics: Every little cell in my body is happy, every little cell in my body is well. I’m so glad, that every little cell, every little cell, in my body is well. I firmly believe that these laughter yoga calls are adding extra time to my life as I am dealing with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer and I have been using holistic methods to keep the cancer slow growing for the last 24 years. Laughter truly is the best medicine and I am so grateful for these calls. Laughter is also a great way to release emotional stress and trauma. It truly is a therapeutic massage for your internal organs and helps trim your waistline too if you laugh hard enough.
There are three types of laugh that the body will naturally do. A deep belly laugh like a Ho Ho Ho. A heart laugh like Ha Ha Ha. And a brain or head laugh like He He He. When you rotate between all three types of laughs, you workout your entire bodice and it is like a therapeutic massage for your vital internal organs and brain. For maximum health benefit from laughter, if your gut isn’t getting sore when you laugh, you need to laugh harder.
