I've honestly and literally watched these videos about 1,000 times. Not only at night to help me fall asleep, but during the day I'll watch ones I haven't seen before. Her voice is just soothing and of course the extractions lol. She seems like a great person and deserves this attention. Popper for life! Lol.

Dr. Lee is, after all, a doctor. She can't spend all day doing pops for our amusement (unfortunately), because she has people waiting to get things done that are potentially life threatening (best example - skin cancer). So, when she leaves things and tells the patient to come back, it's because she is out of time and needs to see her more pressing patients. To add to her loveliness, I believe I heard in an old video that she doesn't charge for the "pops" if the patient allows her to film. Show what a great business woman she is, as well, because there is no better marketing than having people watch and see what a wonderful, talented, compassionate doctor she is. I'd be curious to see how much her practice has grown since she started doing these. Night, all!
This should have been a 20 minute video. I feel like dr Lee went a little crazy, like a kid in a candy store: moving on to another glorious blackhead without finishing the one she's on now. I would have lost my mind too. Either way, this video has made me happy. Love her videos.

a funny blackhead story for my fellow poppers. My best friend and I recently decided to, after five years, admit that we loved one another and things have been going fabulously between the two of us. The other night, I was over at his house and he said the most beautiful words I have ever heard: "baby, will you get the blackheads on my back for me?" I told him "well, that's it. I am going to marry you one day". His response was "okay, as long as you will get the blackheads for me until we die" lol
I'v watched so many videos and you are an absolute gem! You are very attentive to the patient, you clean your instruments, you really clean things out and are so professional. Always enjoy you Dr. Lee.
Just wanted to add to Dr. Lee's reassure for this gentleman that these lesions/pimples/comedones - whatever the appropriate term is - do not emit an odor in anyone that I've ever known. My son and I have long battled these with Mom helping him out with popping, of course! :))) Also, I'm an RN and I've seen many a bare back on patients without ever picking up on a bad smell. I feel bad for this guy thinking he smells when to the best of my knowledge that's just not the case!
For her to do that in between patients was amazing. I can't imagine why anyone would complain when it clearly states it was in between patients and anyone who watches these a lot like me im not dr.Lee's but some of the videos that people post have one black head they're removing that's not even that good. we just saw a bunch of great ones being removed and now we have more to look forward to that was just a quick once-over. I feel like the excitement like when I was waiting for mrs. gold to come back for her cyst to be drained and I feel me because I was kind of upset that it wasn't as big and red as it was when you first showed it but I'm glad she wasn't hurting her as much. I get excited like I used to like a kid waiting for Christmas morning LOL
they complain because they never read Dr. Lee's video notes and a whole lot of viewers never listen to the audio, either, so they didn't know how she was just fitting the patient in between others

You were speaking to her about your show and how busy and tired you were, and I could tell that you had a sore throat by the way you were talking. Please, please take care of yourself. I don't know what has happened lately. when it was the original "popaholics", you would NEVER see the type of comments you see now. comment after comment that is rude, judgemental, entitled, or just plain nasty as hell. on top of that, there are very few who LISTENED to the video or READ the description that Dr Sandra Lee takes the time to type out...never mind the fact she is taking time to film, edit and post a damn video every day. Then you have comment after comment complaining that , " we are sick of lipomas, we are sick of cysts, we want blackhead videos only, we want a blackhead video that is an hour long, we want...we want ....we want....give me....give me....listen only to me cause I am the only one that matters". just when you think it can't get worse, here come the comments about the patients that are just as rude and ugly. I am so sick of it. Dr. Lee, if I were you, I would freaking disable the comment section from now on. and, stop posting a new video every day. these people don't deserve your time and effort. Maybe if they realize you are not catering to them as much, they will learn to be appreciative and shut the hell up. It has gotten to the point that it is out of control. Besides, can you imagine how the patient in the video feels after reading these comments? Seriously, it's time to take back control of your channel. But the comments section is fascinating. True, you have to wend your way over, through, and around all the stupidity from the trolls and the children, but sandwiched in there are some really interesting comments, people with legit questions, etc. To disable the comments section would be a shame, in effect letting the trolls win, and who wants that? All I can say is, anyone who is disturbed by the comments should just not read them. There, problem solved. Whatever people write here, Dr. Lee has hardly "lost control of" her channel!

Think about the people who have a skin problem, and are looking up solutions, comes across these educational videos? it would certainly deter someone who was already self conscious about it, or has issues with going to a doctor. and as far as not reading the comments.....most of the time if I think of a question regarding the video or subject matter, I know somebody else has already asked and gotten an answer. so it would be impossible to not see the bullshit in the process of looking. I don't mean disabled for good. But I do think it has gotten out of hand and when the stage is removed, the rude ones and trolls will find another stage that's available. and it will slowly get back to this point again once the comments are turned back on, but I am afraid that's the only way to handle the problem. Once it gets bad again, the process would need repeating. I stand by my original post.

We are all here for our own reason(s), and those reasons are neither good nor bad; they just are what they are. This is not brain surgery or Homeland Security, it's not life and death; this is supposed to be fun. Dr. Lee started this channel for both educational and entertainment purposes, and I think she's succeeded on both levels. Again, if someone doesn't want to read the comments, finds them dull or offensive or stupid or irrelevant, then they absolutely should not read them. Personally, I would have no interest in staying in a place that called itself a free public forum but then felt the need to "police" (your word) it. Just my two cents.

There is an App!! My niece (7yrs old) watches these with me since she was 2yrs old!!! She downloaded it in the free Android location. I noticed her playing it! It has a commedone tool, your fingers & a scalpel!!!! She says, " help me get this cheese out Aunt Kell..!!!"

Pet peaves is when she starts with the black heads, and doesn't fully complete them (+_+) and when she gives her injections she'll shake her left ✋ and say a pinch and a burn with that needle in her right!!! It's really amazing to watch you use the comedone extractors "the correct way", especially when compared to the people (can't even call them technicians, because they are so horrible and quite literally damage the victim's skin - and fail to empty ANY of the blackheads etc) who will take a loop extractor and push it straight into the skin. If they're lucky, they'll actually remove a TINY amount of the blackheads etc. Far more likely, that they will rip or tear the poor person's skin and not extract ANYTHING at all but still harm the victim with every attempt. Many pop-a--holics post comments on the videos, but with so many of the popping videos being pirated and then posted as if it were theirs - it's nearly impossible to find the original abuser and victim. There really is no other appropriate name for both parties. Keep up the honest and good work, so you can help more and more patients.

Lake Powell is crazy unique. I went there a few times when I was younger and it was actually sort of scary. It's just so huge and all these giant walls, caves, nooks and crannies, it seems easy to get lost or in trouble.
I feel like she doesn't express all the contents of the blackheads/cysts on purpose. If a derm. leaves some in each site, they eill fill back up again....means more visits and more copays

Im an RN & I did this when I worked in a health care facility with multiple doctors. I would always put a warm soak on the areas for about 10 minutes & the patient said it was more comfortable.
I wish I knew more about you when I was pregnant. I was very alone, during labour, my emegency c section, flights to bigger NICU's. Thank-you very much for explaining about "blackheads" to everyone. I have quite a few on my face, and I'm also covered in psoriasis and ulcers. People often erroneously presume that I am dirty.....the opposite is true! I have to use emollients, and sometimes people wrinkle their noses and I had one incident where someone shouted " err look at that leper". So I'm very sensitive to smells like this gentleman.

I can't imagine why anyone would complain when it clearly states it was in between patients and anyone who watches these a lot like me im not dr.Lee's but some of the videos that people post have one black head they're removing that's not even that good. we just saw a bunch of great ones being removed and now we have more to look forward to that was just a quick once-over. I feel like the excitement like when I was waiting for mrs. gold to come back for her cyst to be drained and I feel me because I was kind of upset that it wasn't as big and red as it was when you first showed it but I'm glad she wasn't hurting her as much. I get excited like I used to like a kid waiting for Christmas morning LOL

I don't know what has happened lately. when it was the original "popaholics", you would NEVER see the type of comments you see now. comment after comment that is rude, judgemental, entitled, or just plain nasty as hell. on top of that, there are very few who LISTENED to the video or READ the description that Dr Sandra Lee takes the time to type out...never mind the fact she is taking time to film, edit and post a damn video every day. Then you have comment after comment complaining that , " we are sick of lipomas, we are sick of cysts, we want blackhead videos only, we want a blackhead video that is an hour long, we want...we want ....we want....give me....give me....listen only to me cause I am the only one that matters".

Dr. Lee, if I were you, I would freaking disable the comment section from now on. and, stop posting a new video every day. these people don't deserve your time and effort. But the comments section is fascinating. True, you have to wend your way over, through, and around all the stupidity from the trolls and the children, but sandwiched in there are some really interesting comments, people with legit questions, etc. To disable the comments section would be a shame, in effect letting the trolls win, and who wants that? All I can say is, anyone who is disturbed by the comments should just not read them. There, problem solved. Whatever people write here, Dr. Lee has hardly "lost control of" her channel!

I think your response is coming from a personal stance. you kinda have become the one who has taken upon themselves to be the one who answers all the questions, gives out advice, etc. at least, I don't think Dr. Lee hired you for that, but I certainly don't know for sure! But you are reacting to what I wrote with the response you wrote because you are 100% involved in the comment section so you don't want to lose that. and, I understand that and there's nothing wrong with that. but, yes, the comment section has gotten outta of control. I know Dr Lee doesn't have time to police it either. the other option would be to fix it so no comments would show without approval. but , she has NO time for that nonsense.
think about the patient who come along to watch their video after leaving her office. Think about the people who have a skin problem, and are looking up solutions, comes across these educational videos? it would certainly deter someone who was already self conscious about it, or has issues with going to a doctor.
and as far as not reading the comments.....most of the time if I think of a question regarding the video or subject matter, I know somebody else has already asked and gotten an answer. so it would be impossible to not see the bullshit in the process of looking.
I don't mean disabled for good. But I do think it has gotten out of hand and when the stage is removed, the rude ones and trolls will find another stage that's available. and it will slowly get back to this point again once the comments are turned back on, but I am afraid that's the only way to handle the problem. Once it gets bad again, the process would need repeating.

Dr. Lee started this channel for both educational and entertainment purposes, and I think she's succeeded on both levels. Again, if someone doesn't want to read the comments, finds them dull or offensive or stupid or irrelevant, then they absolutely should not read them. Personally, I would have no interest in staying in a place that called itself a free public forum but then felt the need to "police" (your word) it. Just my two cents.

It's really amazing to watch you use the comedone extractors "the correct way", especially when compared to the people (can't even call them technicians, because they are so horrible and quite literally damage the victim's skin - and fail to empty ANY of the blackheads etc) who will take a loop extractor and push it straight into the skin. If they're lucky, they'll actually remove a TINY amount of the blackheads etc. Far more likely, that they will rip or tear the poor person's skin and not extract ANYTHING at all but still harm the victim with every attempt.
Many pop-a--holics post comments on the videos, but with so many of the popping videos being pirated and then posted as if it were theirs - it's nearly impossible to find the original abuser and victim. There really is no other appropriate name for both parties.
Keep up the honest and good work, so you can help more and more patients.

Im an RN & I did this when I worked in a health care facility with multiple doctors. I would always put a warm soak on the areas for about 10 minutes & the patient said it was more comfortable.

Thank-you very much for explaining about "blackheads" to everyone. I have quite a few on my face, and I'm also covered in psoriasis and ulcers. People often erroneously presume that I am dirty.....the opposite is true! I have to use emollients, and sometimes people wrinkle their noses and I had one incident where someone shouted " err look at that leper". So I'm very sensitive to smells like this gentleman.
