I actually enjoy your videos a lot! I tell you this a lot! Lol. I enjoy watching your BTS with the photos! In fact I want to do something similar. I’m not to crazy with videos. And you said exactly what I tell some friends. I only do photography. If I do videos it’s just for BTS and entertainment purposes only. Not for actually making videos for people and that’s what they get mixed. Stay with your photography! If you do something more with the videos, I’ll support you! You do a great job!

@@J.Allen_Photography Hoping to learn the posing part, I sometimes wonder when I see the model's posing if that would be okay for the senior posing the same or if that isn't appropriate. Would love to see your perspective. I also don't see many or if any on boy seniors and how to pose them and what not. Seeing your BTS really helps me see how you work with the clients, it's like being your intern
@@iKeto_gal I definitely used what I learned working with models to pose my seniors. I still try to keep age appropriate and try not to sexualize the poses, but I try not to overly sexualize my work anyway. As for boys posing…I don’t work with many boys and the ones I do work with are usually clients and I don’t want to do video of those types of sessions.
Every shot was at F1.2---amazing F settings, and shows the usefulness of having lenses that have huge wide open apertures. I've been trying to decide for my apsc camera a6700 (Sony) whether to go with the Sony 11mm F1.8 or the Sigma 10-18mm F2.8. Any thoughts? Low light is important to me, but the sigma has some low light capability at F2.8 AND has an even better and more flexible 10-18mm zoom ability than the sony 11mm which is prime
For portraits, I’m all about that bokeh, so I typically shoot open. As for the wide angles you referenced? What are you planning to use the wide angle for? Landscape, nighttime?
