Is there a way to have the omnihub turn on actuator valves to test if they are working. I have 2 valves programed and connected and they do nothing. Trying to see if you can have the hub manually turn valves on so I can figure out if the hub or valves are the issue.
Hello, in the Omni service menu you can manually activate specific relays. Also with our actuators you can test them by using the toggle on the bottom.
@@HaywardLatAm ok thanks will check it out. Only thing the installer used jandy valves for the install toggling the switches in either direction does nothing.
Thanks for the response. I've called Hayward customer service as well as all the local authorized service providers but still can't get any help. Hayward claims they don't provide phone tech support anymore and the service providers won't return my phone calls. I have an OmniPL system with connections for 4 valve actuators. Can you lead me in the right direction for help please?
I'd like to have a third valve actuator involved in my pool and spa filter automation. Is that possible? Could I assign that actuator to the spillover?
Hello, depending on the capacity of your system you may be able to add more actuators and program it as a water feature. Please consult with your pool professional for more information on what can be done in your particular installation.

Hello, if you have the Omni PL system you should be able to add another actuator. It is an advanced process and tech support won't be able to provide instructions over the phone because it depends on your specific configuration. You need a dealer to do that installation and edit the configuration to program the function you request. You can find local dealers by visiting this link: www.hayward-pool.com/shop/en/pools/Dealer-Locator?langId=-1 Thanks for using Hayward products!
On the Omnihub can I have an actuator that controls 4 laminar jets but when the actuator activates the laminar jets untill it is fully open water goes all over the pool deck. is there a way to program that when turn on the laminar jets that it first turns off the pump waits 20 seconds then turnd the valve to the laminar position then turns the pump back on? then when i turn the laminars off it does the same thing. turns pump off returns the valve to off position then turns the pump back on?
You have to wait for the pump to prime, and then you can turn the actuator, you have to wait for the pump to be at a regulated speed and you have to regulate the valves for the laminar jet manually (most common) because if they’re fully opened you’re gonna have water all over your roof.
Hello, the OmniHub can control an AquaRite generator by using an optional communications board. The other Omnis already have the salt chlorine generator built in.
Thank you very much it was very very helpful ❤
If I have read this correctly is the part number HLX485100 an extension cable for the touch screen of the omnihub
When you back-up to USB to use the program on another similar pool, what happens to the HUA in the program? Edit in Config Wiz ?
Does the OMNIHub support 3rd party heaters (e.g. Pentair MiniMax) to turn on and off based on a temperature sensor connected to the OMNI system?
Yes, it can control non-Hayward heaters.

On 55:10 how can we control the lights individually if we have more then one light?
Hello, in order to control lights individually they need to be on their own relay and transformer.

can omni controlthe Aqua Rite
Electronic Chlorine Generator

my pump address is not appear on the screen when programming
Hello, if the address doesn't appear- make sure your wiring is correct and the pump is energized.
Can I use the OmniHub with a standard, non VS filter pump motor? Would I just use the smart relay to control the on/off of the filter pump motor?
Ok I see now in the video at the 25 minute mark you can choose the type of pump you have.
