The "this run is similar to Maid Yuzu Run" at the start is a relief. I've spent the last few hours trying that one but with an Assist Minori instead but my Nagi wasn't pulling enough weight there and I never got a stun without shafting the entire rest of the run. This is a lot more achievable I just need to put a little more work into gearing up the swimmers
I just had some time to type this. Thank you so much for the guide. This helped me learn the pattern of the boss in a big way. First I tried to fight with Aru and Mina comp but had skill issue to clear it so I caved in and pulled both banners. With the visual bug on the first day, I settled for extreme difficulty without being able to use S.Saki and S.Misaki. And the next day your guide came up and helped me a ton. For my account it's not that stable to clear with 1 team but the boss's HP is very low to throw bodies at them. So again, thank you so much.

Thanks for this! I dont have a Cherino nor is anyone sharing a Cherino with maxed sub skill. Managed to clear it with this team with a borrowed UE50 Minori. As always, only on mock though & I have Grego at 10M HP left on the real run. With your other 10M HP body throw team guide as a base, I managed to clear the 2nd run with my own UE40 Minori, UE30 Serina, UE30 Yuuka, 4* Mine, UE50 Akane & 4* Hoshino. Keeping debuffs at mostly 3-4, Minori did most of the work by doing 3M on the first phase & clears the entire remaining 7M when the left choir appears. I malded with finding the correct team when trying to do the 2nd run due to not having certain students built the same & there was only 5 mins left for the ticket I thought I was done for lol
If you have Mine you can consider replacing Mine with Akari if she's still available because Mine alone already deals 4 debuffs, so you just hold your student's skill and wait for the black/blue soundwave from the organ at 0:24 of that video to get 5 debuffs and deal more damage. But I assume that's a fast clear since you can already clear when the left choir appears XD
@@RSRainstorm My Akari is only UE30 unfortunately but yeah, I was using Mine as the sole debuffer for 2nd team. Akane's only there to tank & rotate. At any rate, having my own personal Minori at UE40 is just more comfortable if I need a 2nd run. Did another run today and followed this vid to a T & paused at every step. Managed to wanpan it with about 20 secs left!
Finally cleared insane thanks to you and funnily enough I cleared insane with one team right after Greg performed his finale and my students were already on the helicopter ladder.

This is definitely my fave team to use against Greg, I actually enjoy this boss however I'm struggling to clear it with 1-team as you do here, but not for the reason you're thinking. My team has the same build levels/equips as yours, with the exception that my Nagisa is actually 5* UE30. This makes her a bit more powerful than yours which I think might be causing issues with the rotation? When you transition to the final phase (2:17) I'm NEVER seeing the black organ debuff. I noticed sometimes I stun Greg too early. So sometimes I need to hold back to try and match your timings... but even then I think I only saw the black organ debuff once. Then if I continue on fighting I generally only get the boss down to somewhere between 10-40mil health. If it's just 10 or less it's fine I throw another team at him to finish. I guess I'm just confused why this is happening. Is there something I should do when I DONT see the black organ debuff? Or I just need to restart and try again and try to match your timings?
- If your Nagisa can stun enemies easily, then use Minori/Nagisa on the left/right choir where there are 9 members for more damage. That's how the highscore for Minori team run, they don't bother stunning Greg, because hitting 9 choir members deal more damage. - However, if you want to use this run, then you can refer to the timing in this video of M.Yuzu clear. I managed to get him down to 8mil then Minori's last EX killed Greg just as he wiped my students with 10 secs left, but it still counted for the win! Now I'm in top 1000 on EU so I am safe. @@RSRainstorm Not much really, but my most successful runs involved using Nagisa instead of Koharu. Nagisa's EX is able to hit both the right (or left) coir nearest to Greg and the organ at the same time. I used Koharu only in the final phase to rotate faster.
I keep running into the issue of stunning Greg way too early (around 1:30~) [My Nagi is 5*, so that might be it] I'm assuming the solution is just to skip out on killing some mobs in phase 2 and focus on the left choir that doesn't build groggy and just do more damage instead? I'll need to find a way to balance it properly so I still get the stun at the right point but I'm about 1 rotation too fast with the groggy for the final stage Edit: I was right, 'missing' a single Nagi EX let me get the stun exactly when I needed it. After some malding I managed to get Greg down to 3m HP with Team 1 and cleaned up with another team for a 27,352,294 clear, which is more than enough to satisfy me. Thanks for the videos Rain, it helps a lot to have a guideline to follow on stuff this hard.
Yeah with 5* Nagi, it's much better to shoot the left or right choir with 9 members to get more damage if you already have enough groggy, that's why most of the highscore teams with Minori don't need to stun Greg.

hello, im running into trouble at 0:35 ingame, the debuff stays at 4 instead of 5. Minori cant deal enough damage i always end up with somewhere above 100x hp. Is there any fix?
Oh yeah I remember that, sometimes the 4 debuffs at 0:35 is messed up. That's why you need to use S.Saki right at 0:37, after the red organ debuff. I am not sure why it works that way.
@@RSRainstorm NA servers, and I don't mind doing high score extreme but Insane Greg has been on my mind for a while now, and i put a good amount of resources into my bunnies and a few others And I'm usually 20 mill short on this one particular strat of Yuuka Koharu Aru Ssaki, NYharuka and Minori, and I'm not sure if my Nyharuka's basic skill only being 8 is what's the cause of it or im just crit coping and malding I'll try this vids strat again tomorrow, and hopefully i figure out how to keep my units alive and also keep the damage

Ngl that massive HP damage dealt by Minori is really satisfying to watch. Manage to 2 team Gregs using this team, and the other is Akari comp team as a cleanup. Well, a clear is a clear.

Yeah I have no shoshino, I tried insane with my extreme team but only was able to deal 40m or bit less dmg with 3 mins already over in insane... I'll try again, probably won't succeed this season but I'll make sure to be prepared for next,it was only just recently before the summer event I cleared 21 in missions for the final cafe upgrade, that's why I lack a huge amount of mats over T6 and 7. I also have very few students with max normal skills😅,just did a lot of lv7 because of shanhaijing's mina and Srt's smiyako I do have Aru built, sadly just Upto 3* still
Good news! I just jumped 3k position to 6.7k in rank lol. I ended up actually using the pipes more precisely and noticing and using my students' debuff cool down. Nagisa and Minori's dmg carried me fully with mina and smiyako's debuffs. I did 15.178m score this time in 1m55 secs.
I don't have S.Miyako in JP server back then, and I failed a lot of similar clears like this. You can use Marina + Cherino, or Reisa, the problem is their debuff is only 30 seconds, so you need more skills cost to do what S.Miyako does. Plus S.Miyako boosts cost recovery too. Well we haven't got Greg in 6 months, so only pull if you want an Insane clear, otherwise save, for now.
My Nagisa is quite powerfull, so groggy filled way too fast, oddly enough even though I stuned very early, still managed to enter final phase at proper time
At proper time means you get a few extra seconds in the final phase like in this clear? If your nagisa is good, you can just spam it on the left choir in phase 2 + right choir in phase 3 to finish faster.
Same, just use Koharu to keep her alive, before you kill enemies with Minori, and spin your organ with Nagisa instead of Koharu, I had to use Koharu EX twice there, still managed to get a better score than on the video, but I used slightly different rotations (more damage-focus, targeted the choirs on the sides more, instead of center ones, tho it's a little harder maybe, last phase starts earlier as you don't stun the boss) (My Azusa is UE40 with T5 Hairpin and T7 watch, make sure your gear is decently leveled)

You need her to deal the defense debuff at 1:28 to 1:31, so if you can find a student to replace that then you're good? But yeah, I don't remember any students with similar skills right now.
Depending on how long you have been playing, you probably have a bunch of excess artifacts from events. Don't hesitate to use Material Fusion crafting to just make a bunch of artifact choice selectors for what you need.
There is Mine, Marina + Reisa team. But you'll need to use a different cycle and I am not sure if they work. Since S. Miyako is the tank, you need to replace her with another tank that can debuff. Mine, Reisa and Marina are the ones that come to mind. Cherino might work too, but I'm not completely sure.
You could use Mine or Reisa but the rotation will be completely different. Mine also benefits from tier 8 gear and 5 stars to stay alive more reliably. You might have to use 2 teams, hopefully second team will only need to do a few mil damage.

4* Koharu can do the job, I saw one clear using her at 4* But if you don't want to summon her, you can try with Rumi, and spin organ with Nagisa instead of Koharu, you might not be able to stun the boss this way(?), if you can't, just prioritize damaging more enemies, this might require some testing tho, I can't say for sure if it's possible, but sounds somewhat doable

You might be able to balance it if your Nagisa is better, which takes down more choir members earlier. That way, you can focus on the left + right choir with Minori + nagisa for more damge, since there are 9 choir members there.

Yeah with 5* Nagi, it's much better to shoot the left or right choir with 9 members to get more damage if you already have enough groggy, that's why most of the highscore teams with Minori don't need to stun Greg.

hello, im running into trouble at 0:35 ingame, the debuff stays at 4 instead of 5. Minori cant deal enough damage i always end up with somewhere above 100x hp. Is there any fix?
You mean it stays at 4 after 0:35 even if you use S.Saki? Maybe it's timing issue?
Oh yeah I remember that, sometimes the 4 debuffs at 0:35 is messed up. That's why you need to use S.Saki right at 0:37, after the red organ debuff. I am not sure why it works that way.

@@RSRainstorm NA servers, and I don't mind doing high score extreme but Insane Greg has been on my mind for a while now, and i put a good amount of resources into my bunnies and a few others
And I'm usually 20 mill short on this one particular strat of Yuuka Koharu Aru Ssaki, NYharuka and Minori, and I'm not sure if my Nyharuka's basic skill only being 8 is what's the cause of it or im just crit coping and malding
I'll try this vids strat again tomorrow, and hopefully i figure out how to keep my units alive and also keep the damage

I rely more on Koharu's NS for sustaining team, in which I've mald whenever she didn't heal the right student
@@TheFT4444 I see, that's kinda rough. you can turn the organ with Nagisa EX at 0:49 as well and heal your team with Koharu. But I guess that depends on your Nagisa + Minori star level. You can check the pinned comment if your team can do that.

Ngl that massive HP damage dealt by Minori is really satisfying to watch. Manage to 2 team Gregs using this team, and the other is Akari comp team as a cleanup. Well, a clear is a clear.

Uh, can you do a run without Summer Miyako? Reisa, Marina, or someone else cause I only have Summer Saki, and Nagisa and I have to use assist slot for UE50 Minori. I heard you said before that UE50 Minori can clear Greg even without Summer Miyako. I gave up after malding using Akari team for a while, can't one team it

You can see it around 2:21 ~ 2:23 near the organ. If you don't see it then you enter the final phase a bit too late.

- Your students should be enough for 2 teams Insane clear, I am just not sure if you have the resources or have built the students to do it.
- If you want to clear insane, just buy Azusa elephs from Total Assault shop to unlock her and run the team in this video with Mina? If you have 5 star Nagisa and can borrow UE50 Minori, it might be better to use both Minori and Nagisa skill on the left and right choir, where 9 choir members are for more damage.
- If you fail to 1 team, build a team around Mine, which is similar to the run with Akari above, or use Aru if you have built her, though she's harder to keep alive compared to Akari.

Yeah I have no shoshino, I tried insane with my extreme team but only was able to deal 40m or bit less dmg with 3 mins already over in insane... I'll try again, probably won't succeed this season but I'll make sure to be prepared for next,it was only just recently before the summer event I cleared 21 in missions for the final cafe upgrade, that's why I lack a huge amount of mats over T6 and 7. I also have very few students with max normal skills😅,just did a lot of lv7 because of shanhaijing's mina and Srt's smiyako

Good news! I just jumped 3k position to 6.7k in rank lol. I ended up actually using the pipes more precisely and noticing and using my students' debuff cool down. Nagisa and Minori's dmg carried me fully with mina and smiyako's debuffs. I did 15.178m score this time in 1m55 secs.

I don't have S.Miyako in JP server back then, and I failed a lot of similar clears like this. You can use Marina + Cherino, or Reisa, the problem is their debuff is only 30 seconds, so you need more skills cost to do what S.Miyako does. Plus S.Miyako boosts cost recovery too. Well we haven't got Greg in 6 months, so only pull if you want an Insane clear, otherwise save, for now.

My Nagisa is quite powerfull, so groggy filled way too fast, oddly enough even though I stuned very early, still managed to enter final phase at proper time
At proper time means you get a few extra seconds in the final phase like in this clear? If your nagisa is good, you can just spam it on the left choir in phase 2 + right choir in phase 3 to finish faster.
my koharu only ue40 mm7m and i can only borrow either minori or smiyako, smiyako replacement?
Reisa/Marina, Reisa might be better because she a heavy armor tank, uh but honestly I am not sure if they can make up for smiyako cost recovery.

For some reason my UE50 T8 Azusa keeps dying whenever the right side spawns in(1:54 ingame timer)
Same, just use Koharu to keep her alive, before you kill enemies with Minori, and spin your organ with Nagisa instead of Koharu, I had to use Koharu EX twice there, still managed to get a better score than on the video, but I used slightly different rotations (more damage-focus, targeted the choirs on the sides more, instead of center ones, tho it's a little harder maybe, last phase starts earlier as you don't stun the boss)
(My Azusa is UE40 with T5 Hairpin and T7 watch, make sure your gear is decently leveled)
Yeah you can just use Nagisa/Minori to hit the organ instead and heal your team with Koharu at any part in the battle. You can also use S.Miyako to hit the organ but you need the debuff counter to be at 5 I think?

You need her to deal the defense debuff at 1:28 to 1:31, so if you can find a student to replace that then you're good? But yeah, I don't remember any students with similar skills right now.

Biggest problem I have now is that I need more Atlantis medals to level S.Saki's skills up. Drop rate is so low on the stages that give them.

Depending on how long you have been playing, you probably have a bunch of excess artifacts from events. Don't hesitate to use Material Fusion crafting to just make a bunch of artifact choice selectors for what you need.

There is Mine, Marina + Reisa team. But you'll need to use a different cycle and I am not sure if they work.

Since S. Miyako is the tank, you need to replace her with another tank that can debuff. Mine, Reisa and Marina are the ones that come to mind. Cherino might work too, but I'm not completely sure.
You could use Mine or Reisa but the rotation will be completely different. Mine also benefits from tier 8 gear and 5 stars to stay alive more reliably. You might have to use 2 teams, hopefully second team will only need to do a few mil damage.
- Well for these teams you need to double check in practice runs I guess, because while some clears are possible, you may not be able to get the same damage output.

Can copy this but currently have Rumi. Though I don't have Koharu unless I can claim her and get her up to 4* with the remaining elephs rn.
4* Koharu can do the job, I saw one clear using her at 4*
But if you don't want to summon her, you can try with Rumi, and spin organ with Nagisa instead of Koharu, you might not be able to stun the boss this way(?), if you can't, just prioritize damaging more enemies, this might require some testing tho, I can't say for sure if it's possible, but sounds somewhat doable
@@0133BlackMageClosest I got was 21mill. I think it's duable but at a clutch. I had to claim azusa with elephs in which she's at UE40. i mostly geared to where she has enough survivability
@NoLifeBrine Well like BlackMage said above, if your team runs out of HP, you can just use Nagisa at 0:49 to hit the organ (wait till the organ white debuff finish first) and use koharu at 1:03 to heal your team instead. And you can adjust it throughout the entire run whenever possible with Nagisa/ Minori + Koharu like at 1:45, 1:55 (Koharu on team) & 2:03.

You might be able to balance it if your Nagisa is better, which takes down more choir members earlier. That way, you can focus on the left + right choir with Minori + nagisa for more damge, since there are 9 choir members there.
oh so just switch targets on p2 huh, i do notice koharu can also hit more choir members on the right side than the left.
