Alan left the band in 1998 to pursue a solo career, David rejoined temporarily from 97-99 but ultimately had to leave for health reasons, and Brian, too, pursued a solo career, but recently retired from the road due to health concerns. They had a year long reunion in 2012 to celebrate their 50th anniversary, before returning to their usual format of Mike & Bruce continuing the touring band, while Brian, Al, and David did their own thing. Mike and Bruce do a good job keeping the band/brand alive. Alan and David still play occasional solo concerts too! But Mike and Bruce were the only ones wanting to tour constantly throughout the year at over 100+ shows a year.
Where are the others??

I thought John Stamos was their drummer?
He plays with them quite often, but not at every show.
Mike, and his pantomimes 🥰
Good god, could that drummer be more starved for attention?
called the beach boy! Where's a few other originals? Mike Love sucks. And this is Terrible!
I couldn't agree more. No Brian, no Carl, no Al, no Bruce....No Beach Boys. Don't even get me started on Uncle Jesse.
@@jeffreys-vu6gdyou left someone out
@@tylerthompson1842 I figured they were still the Beach Boys without Dennis but I definitely didn't mean to slight him.
