  • At €220pp for food, and an additional €150 for a selection of wines - this is a seriously expensive meal. No surprise, as this is the new flagship of Albert Adrià - of El Buli fame.
Join me for 28 minutes of crazy, mysterious, delicious and unusual food, in a choreographed dance of service and slight of hand.
This video was filmed partly on my phone, but mostly with

    and This lens: bhpho.to/2MHjrvq
Join me as I travel the world eating the most amazing and exotic seafood.

I disagree with the other commenters, It seemed like you were focusing and listening. It was so cool how they moved through the courses. Thanks so much for filming this awesome experience! I stumbled on your channel while researching food in Iceland and almost half of your videos later, I'm very happy new subscriber. :)

I just went there last night and everything was amazing. The service was great and everyone was so polite, helpful, and explained everything in great detail. The price was also cheaper, about $275 per person which included the wine pairings.

I went to Enigma and it's quite an experience. The dishes are good but not only that it makes you think a lot. The research team there don't sleep much, they think a lot. As for the price for me it's 100% justified when you see all the staff working there for you. A lot of money is invested in this restaurant from the prime products to the staff to the custom dishes, linen napkins, custom chairs, etc.. People who complains about this experience have to be very picky about food or very closed minded. I had a fucking great time there you don't have to believe me but I share my experience.

Based on the faces and your comments I thought you didn't like it until the end where you said it was amazing. I like the videos better when you do a voice over and explain the food and how you felt about it as you ate it.

23:45 - Just FYI, Pomelo is one of the four or five original, "natural" citrus fruits. Grapefruit is a hybrid product of the pomelo and the orange, the latter of which is a hybrid of the pomelo and the mandarin (which is another of the original citrus fruits). :-)

Not my most favorite video you've made. The restaurant itself looked quite stylish and interesting, however.. Those portions were so small and really lacked appeal. The dishes themselves left a lot to be desired but hey, I wasn't there so what would I know?
Nonetheless, thank you for the upload and here's hoping you're having a wonderful holiday.

they went a bit too far with their ideas

Maybe not really expensive. Everything there is definitely premium stuff. Angulas and percebes are very expensive even in bulk. But the most expensive thing is so many people working for you, and they seem to speak English quite fluently, don't they? I'm not impressed by the food served (you are quite expressionless when chomping) but the experience seems legit to me. I suppose it would be even more expensive in any other major world city, say London Hong Kong New York, isn't it?

I went to this restaurant 2 years ago and was actually quite disappointed. We also went to "Moments" in Barcelona which was a similar price and it just is miles better - less overtly pretentious and cleverer, and I found the staff more friendly.
Don't get me wrong, this place did some good dishes and had its moments, but I have had much better value dishes, and indeed better dishes, in high-end restaurants, that this place.
This was actually also the last time I did wine pairing. It's just not worth it. The only place I've been similarly let down by wine pairings was "Story" in London, which a foodie friend insisted :) When we visited him he deferred to me on wine choices, and I just think for E150 wine pairing, you're better getting 3 pretty bottles for E300 per couple. We typically try a 50/100/150 combo. I think he has been converted as a result.

It didn't look like you liked any of the food and then at the end you said it was epic. Confusing video. The people who work there look a bit awkward. The whole place looos overdone and pretentious too. It's a no from me.

This was difficult to watch, first of all the audio sucks, you need to work on that, then throughout the meal you kept making faces as if you didn't like the food only to give it raving reviews at the end, the servers all look nervous which is understandable as you have a camera pointed at them the whole time and english is not their first language.
