When doing kings pickup combo do u put the actual input or do you bind a key to the 4 buttons?

Ohh the chain throw. When you mash all 4 buttons, usually only one variation of the chain throw comes out. So if I wanna do a separate one, I don't mash all 4 buttons, I do the input. I have a 1+2 and a 3+4 binded so I mash those two when I want the variation that always comes out if u mash- to come out.

During the king chain grabs it sounds like you just start mashing at some point... is this some technique to get the chain grabs I don’t know about? I’ve been doing all the inputs manually so I would be so relieved if there were an easier way outside of buffering
