I’ve heard nothing but negative things about working retail and how low the pay is. Is there a way to get in the hospital without retail experience? Retail only make like $15/$16/hr…I cannot live off that as an adult my age right now

OR when you’re new can you do desk PT to start and then work in the hospital? Or maybe a close door pharmacy + a hospital setting? It seems I would have to work 2 jobs in this field in order to make good pay (comparable enough to what I currently make to switch my role). But I really think this field is something I could enjoy. I would like to do something new..but in doing something new it seems tough to break into the first job
