The soft breathy dry-production intimate verses contrasting nicely with the powerful belt-yer-face-off chorus, the detail in the layered vocals, that super atmospheric Bond-theme-esque tremolo guitar running thru the whole thing.... & dripping attitude again. What's not to love?! Oh, & she could 100% make her money as a writer/producer/arranger, never mind the vocal performance skills.... this sounds *SO* crisp, yet retaining enough interesting choices so as to not be just "industry". She's a #SpecialTalent for sure. 💅 :)

Check her out on The Voice UK. She said it was recorded about a year ago. Her blind audition aired about two weeks ago. I don’t know if it’s like the Voice in America where you end up with live performances and people vote or if it’s all recorded. She talks a bit about herself and it’s very interesting I think 😊 I love this song and video.

Banger song, love her voice, her lyrics are great. She is so under appreciated so deserves so much more of a spotlight on her. But I don’t wanna see her made into a cookie cutter artist, she is so unique. Always worries me independent artists being so amazing creating their own buzz then some record company signs them and wants to change so much of them and pigeonhole them. Chinchilla is awesome and she so deserves to win The Voice UK this year. Wishing her the best. ❤

Mainstream is a bit stale, it's music by focus groups. That's not the role of the artist, it's the realm of the performer. The independents are pushing the game forward, creating. There's this tidal wave of free artists that will probably break the blockade on airtime that the production companies have. We need a free market for music since we have the technology to deliver information cheaply everywhere. Let the artists use it. Even in youtube we will see that they will push the company performers to the detriment of the independent artists, if we look closely enough. They're farming music.
