That's why i love this sport. Even behind the scenes there are close friendships among the rivals in darts. And Nathan's reaction tops off my point. It's wholesome and really nice to see how close some players are to eachother

He's starts with 56 and is on 445 after 3 darts and then his next throw starts on 19,s and no one on commentary says 'why is he starting on 19,s?' And he scores 95 (S,T,S)leaving 350, then hits 180 followed by finishing on 170.
No one on commentary seems to have spotted it but he started working out his path to a finish from 445- not sure too many people have done that from the 400,s before

Littler is a once in a generation player. We haven't seen someone capable of dominating darts since Phil Taylor did. He's an absolute animal with ice rubbing through his veins. Raw, untouched, genuine talent
This guy is unreal. We’re looking at a 16 year old kid doing the stuff he’s doing. A 9 darter at the age of 16 on the main tour, just remarkable. He’s the future of this sport and the best thing to happen to darts.

Like most people I guess I hadn't heard anything about Luke what this young man has shown on and off the Oche is remarkable and quality way beyond his Year's and I say that sincerely I really don't know how anymore would react to such massive exposure on the World stage in an instant as Luke has but he comes across as a really mature thoughtful person and likeable long may he enjoy continued happiness health and success 😊

First Luke manages to reach the the world championship final, then in the very next tournament, he hits a NINE DARTER.
Something tells me he’s no fluke. He is the nuke.
The thing with a 9-darter is that pulling one off on the big televised stage is something else (they're all able to rack them up in practice at home). And pulling it off on the big stage transcends that game/set itself - you'll always see respect from any opponent for it - kinda like a 147 in Snooker. Hell of an achievement, and sends the crowds into frenzy!

He's a great player and did well to beat mvg, mvg was not at the races though, its great for darts to get to see such a young talent, i hope he manages to keep his feet on the ground and give us all some cracking matches.
