That 4 Doritos AWD setup was the closest anyone came to beating the hoonicorn in a head to head. It was getting faster after each pass due to body panels flying off.

I don’t know this community at all, but it seems that a lot of people are dogging on Rob. You need to realize, Rob is doing these races to tune his car. He doesn’t care about winning, he’s trying to get his car to function and drive properly. It’s not that he needs to “bring the 4 rotor to have a chance at winning”, it’s that he needs to do more testing and tuning in order to make the 3 rotor a strong and good car. Watch his videos, it’s all about his experiences learning as he builds the cars he has, learning and tuning as he goes.
If you've spotted it in the background of his videos it's been having a bit of a bodywork makeover at the very least since he last officially showed it on video
He’s not getting any traction with the 3 rotor because of how much torque it’s making in any of the gears, and I don’t know about you but I’d be safe if I was spinning tires all the way down a 1500ft airstrip.

It’s not that he needs to “bring the 4 rotor to have a chance at winning”, it’s that he needs to do more testing and tuning in order to make the 3 rotor a strong and good car. Watch his videos, it’s all about his experiences learning as he builds the cars he has, learning and tuning as he goes.

I think Rob might have to race the STi with his 4 rotor mazda. I've always loved the 3 rotor though, it sounds like an absolute monster of a car.

He’s not getting any traction with the 3 rotor because of how much torque it’s making in any of the gears, and I don’t know about you but I’d be safe if I was spinning tires all the way down a 1500ft airstrip.
