To save some mesos during the event make sure to star force your lower tier gear and transfer into higher tier gear at 16* then tier the gear up 1. For example you would star a pensalir bottom to 16 stars, then transfer it to CRA bottom, it will be at 15 then you star it 1 more time to get it to 16. I checked on the starforce calculator the median cost for a 150 item from 0 -16 stars is about 274mil if you star catch the entire time. For a lvl 140 item the median cost is 227.6mil + the 1 star after the transfer which is an extra 21mil = 248.6mil so you do save around 30mil. Wut would happen, I have abso gear that is already scrolled and unique potential. If I transfer the stars from a level 150 to my abso, do I lose the scrolls and potential on my abso lab?
Please do not ever use your dom pendant fodder to transfer 16->15 superior. You can only suggest dom fodder 21-20/22-21 if you are using doms to push past 20 stars since dom fodders are so scarce

If you happen to have a dominator pendant. YOU DO NOT transfer that to superior pendant. UNLESS your dominator pendant is 21 stars. Going to 21 stars is very very very hard and can cost even 30 bilion if unlucky.
The level different is too big. At level 120+ items need to be within 10 levels to transfer to eachother. The magnus shoulder is 120 and the antique is 150 so its too high of level difference.
So if I am a new player working on legion with a 245 main from like 2 weeks ago, with just around 1.7b mesos, should I starforce the gear I can get my hands on to xfer into Abso in the future? even if I don't even have meso/drop gear yet? (taking into consideration that It'll probably take me a while to have mesos again to make drop gear)
Exactly what zman said, also I would recommend making an ab if you havent already and getting it to the point where it can kill all the daily bosses its around 300k - 400k CP, its an extra 100mil per day. I am probably going to make a video on it and how you can make decent mesos for a newer player.

You can put a pen glove into a ranmaru glove into absolab if you're looking to save a little cash or don't have it like me. If you have a ton of funds, you may as well roll it?

For example, wouldn't it be cheaper to get a pensalir hat to 16* then transfer it to CRA even if you already have the CRA hat? Then redo only the 16th star on the CRA hat.

Mostly because I am taking into account new players and the amount mesos they most likely have, it costs a lot extra for all items 16-17, new players most likely dont have enough to 17* everything. 2. I think it does, but it just a lot more rng to get than the antique root stuff you can just buy, the coins you get from magnus and root abyss you dont really use anyway so there is no reason not to buy those, also its very easy to get spares if you need them vs the ranmaru set is full rng
Yea after this shinning event I did the math for how much it was costing I was at like 400mil per piece for 0 - 17. So it was definitely lower than that for 0 -16, hopefully people just farmed more mesos and were able to have extra to get other stuff up.

Its better to do the pensalir and transfer as long as you have the transfer item in between the 2 its cheaper
