You sound just like me when I saw them for the very first time which was at the first Whiskey a go go gig. they only were aloud to play for a half hour but it was intense! I remember feeling like a giddy little kid on Christmas morning! I also remember one of the bands that played before The Warning I overheard one of the guys in the band say " I think we were just outdone by 3 teenage girls" he was that impressed with what he saw.😆
Great that you got to see them and Plush live. Too see The warning in a 500 plus venue is something special. I’ve only see them once but in a smaller venue and that i will never forget
Bro, I was so there that night, second time seeing them there in Santa Ana, and both times I walked away with my mind blown. I've never seen any group live have as much passion, drive, energy, and love on stage

Glad you got to see them so soon after just discovering them, and while they are taking off big time. Those that have watched them pay their dues for over a decade, are just glad it's finally happening after all these years, as it is justly overdue. I was on the ale side of the pit area up untill kat leon from holy war decided to jump into the crowd and start a mosh pit wich threw me onto the dany side of the pit area where i remained,great night and yes I was caught up in 2 more pits for The Warning started by TWA orange county chapter lol was a blast ,I also attended the San Diego and Los Angeles show fearing it would be my only chance to see them at smaller venues,glad you had a great time cheesy wish I woulds seen you there to say hi...VIVA LA WARNING⚡⚡⚡

I feel you bro! I couldn't get a meet and greet ticket either. I was really bummed. It hit hard when some of the folks in line had traveled from other states and one said this is my fourth time meeting them! Ugh! Great show though! I was like a kid on Christmas morning!
At some point in your journey, you feel compelled to see every video that documents their progress from child prodigies to Rock stars. But even after you see all those clips and concerts, you don't feel satisfied. So you dive into the other stuff, the videos that they share with their supporters because that exposes the real people they are and their interactions with their family and musical mentors. Only then do you begin to feel that you know something about them and the message in their music. I don't think that part of the journey ever ends, really, but you get to a point of having a comfortable base of knowledge. Interacting with others, including those who have supported them for years, some for about as long as there has been a band called The Warning, becomes the avenue to learning other details, the stories of the growing legend of the trio that contains things that only members of The Warning Army seemed to know. Even though that is nothing arcane - as everyone will share those stories and enjoys doing it - it is still a level above being a casual fan. You realize that each of us has our own musical sojourn that has led us toward The Warning - and all the other bands we enjoy listening to. But there is something special about Dany, Pau, and Ale. Maybe it is their sincerity that the music captures or just their passion for playing it live. It's contagious. Maybe some people are immune to it. Maybe their ears work differently, or it's how they are wired inside. IDK. But for me and maybe a few hundred to a few thousand others at this point who have been infected, or have been completely "Warned", that is what sets The Warning apart.

Great to hear this report, Cheezy. I'm gonna see them next week in Charlotte, NC and I can't wait. I know this video is mostly about The Warning (as it should be), but please do something similar to this on Plush. As you now know, they're superb and are going places fast. like you, i just saw them in LA after months of seeing their videos. Just an awesome experience. i haven't been to many concerts as an older guy unless they were 80's groups but this was a Thunderous and fun experience - loved it. I felt the music go through my body especially Ale's bass.

It's definitely an inexplicable feeling to see these girls. And to add Plush on top of that. Wow, great show, so happy for you. I saw them in a venue for about 700 and it was great. I was just a few feet away from Ale and her bass reset my heartbeat for me.

Thank you for sharing Cheezy. Now you know. No video captures the experience of being there. I think we get Warned twice. First introduction to TW, then first live show. I've seen lots of famous stadium bands, but I've never left a concert feeling what I did after my first TW show. Hope you get to meet them in the future.
You're absolutely right that it's hard to put into words what it's like to see them in person for the first time, especially for their headlining shows. I'm glad that P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C was the jar song again cuz when I went to their Mayday tour show in Pittsburgh and saw them perform my favorite song, Dust to Dust, it was like an out of body experience, especially watching Pau during that performance was epic! I'm so glad you had a great experience and hope you have plenty more opportunities to see them in the future. Stay cheezy 🧀🤘!
First and foremost, great wedding picture! One of my regrets of moving away from SoCal is not being near a hub where The Warning are appearing. Perhaps one day...but happy you got to go! Great description of the experience. Those small venue moments are quickly fleeting. Congrats!

The Observatory show?!?! I was there too! Great show, they were on fire! And the sound was fantastic. So glad you got to see them, Cheezy! I'm also real happy about Holy Wars and Plush. Man, Moriah's Ann Wilson impression was just wonderful. And yeah, that was my first time hearing P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C. too!

Damn that sounds great. Looks like a good venue. Been just over a year since I'd seen them now, may not get a chance this year. As you mention, there is no video that that can compare to being in front when Pau and Ale kick it in. You feel it in every cell. Certainly a show that ranks near the top out of thousands.
So happy for you Cheezy! I couldn't believe they actually pulled Psychotic! Apparently each of the songs in the jar is there 3 times. The last one actually got pulled a few nights later, Dany thought it was really strange how that turned out! I hope you get to see them live many more times!

i remember you mentioning the date of the show you were going to and when i seen that psychotic got picked at a show a couple days before, i thought of you. i thought that they would replace it with another and you werent going to get to see it. then when i seen the fan footage from the show you were at and it got picked again, i was like hell yes!!! so glad you got your wish!!!!

I was at the same Observatory show. Pau & Ale sounded like bombs going off on top of an earthquake. Dany's voice never let up. I have no idea how she does that night after night. Every performance of "more" is different so far. The video will be interesting. I thought the crowd could have been more involved, but they gradually got into it. The lead singer for Plush sounds just like Anne Wilson of Heart. (The best female rock voice of the 70/80's IMHO). My impression of Holy Wars was a somewhat refined Punk sound. All in All a great show & worth going to again.

I was fortunate to see them twice last year--Jergel's in Pittsburg, PA and the Canal Club in Richmond, Virginia ---Both small venues i.e. up close and personal. Will be seeing them again May 18 at the Underground in Charlotte, NC (another up close and personal venue)! the experience of seeing them live at these type venues is as they say--"PRICELESS"! I remembered psychotic being one of your favorite songs and even remembered you saying you would love to see them play it live AND when I found out you were there I thought to myself destiny, I was soooo freaking happy for you cheezy. I've missed out on a couple of times to see them but God is my witness I will get my first chance soon I hope.
It's great you finally got to see the TW live. My first time seeing them live was May of 2022 in the smaller Constellation Room next to The Observatory. They blew the roof off the place and my mind was 🤯. ❤TW⚡️

I would love to see them at a smaller venue like that. I saw them at a huge amphitheater and was pretty far away from the stage. But I could feel it from where I was sitting. Now you have been properly and thoroughly warned.

Congratulations, 🤘I got to see them in San Fco, I brought a niece and a nephew with me, (teenagers) I've had promised myself not to tear up if I ever saw them live, obviously that promise meant nothing because during one of my fav songs my nephew sarcastically asked "are you happy?" "Yes" I answered.
Exactly the type of venue I want to see them in, but like you, I'm not sure that opportunity will ever come up again, at least not anywhere remotely close by. Meanwhile, it's great to be there second hand through reaction vids like this one!

After watching this, I watched this entire set posted by Martin TW so I could relate a little bit with your experience. You mentioned the tone of Dany's guitar... What impressed me was not only the different customized tones that she uses, but the complete command she has over her instrument. She is at one with her guitar(s) while singing, jumping around or interacting with her sisters and the audience. I'd love to hear your comments about that. Also, I enjoyed your interjection of Cheezy, back in the day, and the knowing look you gave us (you know).
Me and my friend finally got to see The Warning last night, my friend never heard of them and was blown away and fell in love. We also got to see two openers called Holywars, and Plush which also kicked butt.
All 3 bands are very good! Holy Wars took a bit to get used to but eventually grew on me very quickly.

Hey Cheezy! I'm glad y you made it to a live experience. They're online presence is cool, but there's something unique watching DPA make their stage magic in person. You also get to appreciate the work and the labor of love from the crew - Rudy, Lalo, Carlos, momma and papa. I'm gonna reuse the word "unique" because in the music biz, it's unique.

Nothing can prepare you. You think you know, but until you experience TW live, you do not know. No amount of videos will do them justice.
Even the "truncated festival show" was fantastic. We saw them in Phoenix, and the astonishing thing was... they had the cleanest sound setup of anyone. Phone-shot vids simply can't capture it, but I was agog at how good their performance was, particularly compared to "bigger" bands that followed them (I tended to cut the previous bands some slack).

Saw Uriah Heep, Leatherwolf(2X) at The Observatory (before it was called The Observatory...steak dinner and Leatherwolf...quite the dinner package. Original lineup as well, to the hometown crowd, now THAT was a fantastic 80s metal band that never hit big. First album is classic, as well as Street Ready. Their triple axe attack, three part harmony solos.👍

🗣 Watup Cheezy! Great video! I was there! Sad I didn't see you. It was my 10th TW show. After the show I drove all the way to the Bay Area arriving at 6am. I slept til 1pm and went to my M&G before their Fillmore show. I am still high off attending the first 4 shows of the ERROR WORLD TOUR. Hopefully I'll see you at the next one!
