Hi. I started playing FP Hierophant about a few weeks before Legion ended, and got it to 92. It allowed me to finally crush the high end content no other builds had truly allowed me to do before. And it also allowed me to blow through maps to accumulate currency to sink into the build and make it better. Your build guide, as well as your in depth video on the mechanics were, bar none, the best I've yet to see. You nerd the details to a level where everybody can understand them, and either run with them, or understand how they can make changes themselves, to fit their playstyle, and how that may impact this build. Both your videos and written guides were impeccable. I'll definitely be playing this as my starter in Blight. I've toyed with the idea of going HC with it, because it feels like it's definitely viable, and I might just do that. Thank you for this update. It was interesting, and allowed me a slight preview of what's to come. I'll be following your twitch as I start Blight up myself and checking your diary to see if there are any new items coming up.
I'm still wavering between divine ire and freezing pulse, but thank you so much for the detailed explanation and guide. Liked, subbed, belled, all that good stuff. Keep up with the QUALITY shit. :D

Made this in standard last week, will be my league starter! Did accidently have avatar of fire selected on tree for a few days, still managed to clear red maps haha
Not something I felt made sense for this build, but probably means a return of the old Chieftain reflect totem concept. Back in the day someone thought up a build that utilized Eye of Innocence, which hits "you" for 100 damage every time you ignite something, which also transferred to your totems. So your totems would ignite something, hit themselves for 100, and trigger their own reflect in a never ending loop. Some version of that is probably doable one again.

Yeah, all notables are actually in the table, but the interesting thing is we can now see the relative rarity of all of our choices (including the "hidden" notables). What surprises me is that Soul of Steel is going to be the most expensive notable in the game, right alongside Constitution. Disciple of the Slaughter is also pretty high up there. Flash Freeze does look like the most easily acquired notable from the ones I was already looking at, so that should help at least.
If it does end up being a double prefix shenanigan craft I think beast crafting remove a random suffix add a prefix and vice versa is gonna give the best chance, depends on the weighing of the mod of course Also thanks for your insight 😁
@@Bjoernenh Prefixes cannot be changed craft could help you isolate those modifiers, though the main issue is that you still need to get them both on the same scepter that doesn't have a third prefix. It's another possible avenue though, and probably worth using the trade site to keep an eye on during the league once you have that level of currency. As for Soul Mantle, I have a feeling it'll be more expensive than normal in Blight, yeah. By how much I'm not certain; I feel like the initial price inflation will hit minion and poison gear a little harder. Soul Mantle is usually quite cheap so hopefully it isn't too bad this time around.
sorry to bother but, altho a self cast curse can make your life better while staying away during mapping, most bosses (where the curse really is needed) have a phase where you can stay at the entrance and do your things. sooo, orb of storm - curse on hit - frostbite and then if you annoint +1 curse proj weakeness or use something esle like arcane surge (if not on flame dash) would be better isnt it?, it stays there and you can remove increase duration which opens up or the arcane surge before the annoint or a second curse. orb of storm still hit even if you do not do any damage with it . what you think?

Yeah, I think Freezing Pulse is probably one of the best spells for totems we have right now. I don't think totems are the best way to utilize the Frostbolt interaction with Ice Nova, and by itself I think Frostbolt doesn't compare that well to Freezing Pulse.
I ran a Divine Ire totem build in 3.6 league using the soul mantle mechanics and found it to be very powerful... fastest boss killer I've ever used. I'm very interested in trying your freezing pulse totems for 3.8 as you really have such a nice build! I notice however on your tree that you wait until around level 95 to take the "Sanctum of thought" node which along with the 2 kikazaru's gives 100% curse immune. Is this intentional to wait that long before taking this node? I did notice when I ran just the 2 kikazaru's in synthesis that I seemed okay most of the time but I always had my suspicions that among all the curses I had up that the remaining 20% curse effectiveness was a significant factor in my death at times. :)
No, actually it just looks like a mistake with the earlier breakpoints. I have that pastebin fixed now; I generally account for it in the leveling trees around the end of story mode (so around Merciless Labyrinth), but I'd say that you should get Sanctum of Thought as soon as you have the Soul Mantle and Kikazaru rings together.

My fav build atm is Spectromancer, but since I like to try different builds, ill try this one on Blight. Hoping it to be fun.
