3:09, Window shattered when the door slammed is due to flexion in the wall (assuming the window was properly set). Remove the drywall and install another king stud on the window side. 2nd option is to install a right-hand door so the hinged side is closest to the window- this would transfer a majority of the impact of a slammed door to the block wall.
They don't seem to really fix fix things like that unless it's beyond necessary. A lot of throw a patch on things or paint it and let's get it to market

The next time you have a pipe bust you should use a vendor that's has experience in using liquid nitrogen. That way they can isolate and freeze a small portion of the pipe without having shut the water down for the building.
