I swear Franky has to be third yonko commander level at this point. He has never struggled in a fight, EVER. All his fights are mid-low diff. He barely broke a sweat against Sasaki last arc. If he gets Vegapunk modifications its over.

@@rand12389Not Captains. Zoro and Killer also have the title. The criteria was rookie pirates with bounties over 100 million that made it. Hence it did have a correlating strength element to it. Bonney a pre skip was 140 mil. Franky was like 44 mil. Less than 1/3 of hers. At the time of introduction it was highly implied that all the supernova were stronger than all the Strawhats other than Luffy and Zoro who were Supernova themselves. And I suppose by extension Sanji as well.

It’s because while the jobber vice admirals are weaker than Yonko commanders and sub-commanders, they’re on par or better than all the remaining officer classes, like the Numbers, Headliners or 90% of Big Mom’s kids. They’re undoubtedly filling the jobber role but imo they don’t count as fodder because they still scale well to previous antagonists in the series, even if they’re being mopped now.
Red King I think is very comparable to Senor Pink, who wasn’t a pushover at the time. The focus is supposed to be on how strong the Straw Hats have become.
I think it may be just the top of his head considering the top of a boars head is insanely tough.
The disingenuous nature of using Garp as a tool to downplay all other vice admirals who get tapped out by other characters who as perceived by the community as weak therefore the vice admirals must be weaker that they thought... Is some wacky stuff! Downplaying Maynard because he got tapped out off screen by Bartolomeo under the pretence that Bartolomeo is weaker than a vice admiral thus downplaying both characters instead of accepting that Bartolomeo is just that much stronger! Using Garp as a litmus test for vice admiral strength is disingenuous when you refuse to add context and take into account Garp is only a vice admiral because he refuses to move up the ranks and refuses promotions even though we know he is and would have been a fleet admiral decades ago if not for his sense of justice! I hate that these guys do that all the time!

Bruh, OP fans truly can't powerscale for shit. They see 1 minor feat over another character and immediately downgrade the other character. Just cause Warcury tanked an attack does not mean he's over Kaido or BM. Durability is just 1 factor. Red roc barely damaged a base form Kaido. Kid and Law didn't even knock out BM despite BM being nerfed out of her acoc and Kid and law having better durability, stamina and plot armor better than Luffy out of no where. Like bruh Law had better plot amor in that fight than Luffy has ever had. Bro's back was totally fine after a armament barrage from BM and bro was taking them like nothing Just cuase it was supposed to be the final attack and Oda wanted to be done with BM. Bro said this is my final attack and proceeded to do like 3 more attacks while saying the same shit over and over again. BM just fell down from Onigashima. They technically didn't beat her.

But he lost consciousness three times and need to nap and eat. Luffy can force his heart to pump like in chapter 1045 but it reduce his lifespan as kaido said. Considering the pressure of five elders Luffy shows some improvement instead
He also doesn’t know the true name or nature of his fruit yet (still thinks it’s just rubber on steroids) so I honestly think he can only tap into his power without retaining its full capacity yet. Almost like Ichigo not obtaining the full power of his Zanpakuto

I think each of the gorosei have their own unique abilities, Saturn - Can grow back Limbs/Eyeball power, Warcury - Hardens/Toughens skin, Nusjuro - Ice sword powers, Mars - Dont know what his could be yet but maybe something with intangibility

"JJK manga is so bad" Dudeee I have been saying Manga nowadays are only carried by Animation and Fights, they don't have defined story, plot or world building, They are only about battles and killing and fancy hero power ups, Think about it, Every chapter there is only 2 or 4 characters fighting where as in one piece we have got so much plots for each character and their dialogues, but Manga nowadays only deal with BATTLES BATTLES BATTLES every freaking chapter, let's compare the amount of time you spend to read JJK chapter and One piece chapter which one finishes faster? Obviously JJK because there is only fights and no dialogues or story progress where is one piece there are dozens of characters and their locations, dialogues, story and Oda combines them in one chapter which is insane if you think about it, JJK, KNY, MHA, etc new shonen manga don't have definite stories and they only care about Battles and Animation.
What do you wait for in JJK? It's animation and battles And what do you wait for in One piece? It's Story and Revelations more than battles

Call me nuts, but I believe the "York is a triple cross" kinda plausible. That expression she's pulling when she's showing Mars the shape of the Den Den? To me that doesn't look like someone who is that terrified. Almost as if she knew these things existed before. I know this is an asspull, but what if there was some intentional memory loss behind the scenes stuff going on right now?
Shaka and York made a plan, to make Stella believe in the plan. Remove his memories before everything pops off, engage the plan. What happened before York got captured? Don't forget it! Because it looks like a lot of people already have. I think what happens in the timeskip is the reveal that York never betrayed anyone. Could very, VERY likely be wrong in the end, but its fun to speculate. :)
EDIT: Also, I don't think I've seen a single person mention Caribou potentially being the gurgling / bubbling sound effect. Could be absorbing all of Vegapunk's brain into his swamp or could be used by Van Auger and Devon against Mars somehow.

The Gorosei are impressive but I just don’t think their combat abilities are better than the admirals. If they were then everyone would be cooked with no plausible way they survive. Even if Dragon comes he’s not handling 5 admiral + level fighters in different corners of the map.
Then your not paying attention to the story enough. Its been clear from the start and by start i mean when they were first introduced that they are yonko+ level as they are the overseers of the world government.
They literally have warrior GOD in their titles they are not being defeated now luffy a yonko level character is struggling with them. This is all about the straw hat's escaping and vegapunks message getting out there simple
