He cheesed an endgame space monster, zombified it, then used it to become the leader of the galaxy. Then he abused his authority to destroy the galaxy and ascend to a higher plane of existence
he started as an empire that has a dragon in their starting system. Then he kills and revives it, so now it counts as a fleet under his command. Because of that massive boost in military strength during the early game every single empire in the galaxy agrees to become his vassal.
Opening a Stellaris video with an Endless Space 2 BGM. The gall. The audacity. I love it. tl;dr for anyone confused: This exploits 2 options during civilization creation: 1. Start with an End-Game level space dragon NPC in your system. 2. Play as a species that can reanimate the dead. You then rush several key techs that let you exploit the dragon's combat AI, take it down through cheese, and then reanimate it. Boom. End-Game unit in 30 years when a typical session lasts around 200. Now you can do whatever you want: force everyone into peace, or ascent at the cost of the galaxy. It doesn't matter you have a FREAKING SPACE DRAGON WHO'S GONNA STOP YOU?!?!?!
Here be dragons is also a direct buff to spiritualist builds. Rushing unity lets you get the dragon in like, a little over the same time and for the same result of vassalizing the galaxy
i saw Stellaris on the checklist on the last video you did, and i was like, "no way, couldn't possibly" but here we are, my favorite game, being played by one of my favorite creators
King Terenas' speech from the WotLK trailer on top of Skyrim's top song, *and* for silly little space game? I don't know whether to slap you or hug you.
Short but so sweet. I never even suspected that ymfah was a fan of Stellaris, I LOVE that game. So awesome to see him do this, I hope the video takes off and he does more!
I used to play stellaris a ton, never was good at it, but it’s one of those games that literally invades your dream and you play it in your head when you sleep
Really interesting that you post a Stellaris video in the same month where I've become interested in Stellaris. And it just so happens to be about my favourite Origin
Amazing, love paradox games It's a good thing you took a break from souls series and decided to come up with something entirely different It's a good thing you exist and create wonders, ymfah
watched all the way through and commenting even though I've never and will never play Stellaris for one reason: you deserve it. Thanks for all your content.
I don't even play Stellaris, but if ymfah posts I sit my ass down and WATCH The subtitle cuts in this one seemed to be faster than in the Souls videos, but that could also be that since I'm not familiar with Stellaris' gameplay I take longer looking around the screen before looking down at the subtitles.
i know nothing of this game really, but when the reanimated badass dragon was created i was like, oh super powered unkillable nano dragon and wipe the board of all pieces? noooope, bro fuckin took the board and threw it away. That was a hilarious ending
I know nothing about Stellaris but this was so interesting to watch all the same, would love to see what you could do in something like rimworld. Keep up the awesome content as always!
0:50 Can we just we just appreciate the man for putting Skyrim OST that will get him demonetized, like that one time he made a video about it, just to make that one joke about the TOR PE DO.
Damn. Feel like I missed something by not knowing you liked this game. Stellaris is my favorite strategy game. So good. The editing in this was great too. Loved the video.
I like how methodical and quiet this was until the turnaround. Perfectly mimics Stellaris where you're biding time until someone comes and just takes over the entire system with endless nukes and an undead alien dragon. (I have no idea how Stellaris works.)
Hey, just wanted to say it was cool seeing you branch out past soulsborne stuff! I obviously love that stuff still, but challenges in all games are super entertaining
Holy shit I didn't realize he got over a million subscribers. Deserves it, loved the early breaking DS videos, and for getting me into power wolf. It was epic
This was realy fun to watch, was realy refreshing to see such a game from you. I would love to play and understand Stellaris but as someone who never played it... I just find it impossible to find a start and understand the game
I'm going to be honest played lotsa paradox games, didn't expect ymfah to play stellaris, but what kept me going is knowing that he knows FTL and it's nice music.
Making Esbern say Tor-pee-doe was harder than I thought.
Discussion thread : www.reddit.com/r/ymfah/comments/12ihx84/how_to_break_stellaris_37/
dragon deez nutz lmao
Torpedo!
Wait what
The trailer voice is esbern???????
fishy business
Pff, my face when the Vodyani Church starts playing over Stellaris Gameplay
Godly to see ymfah branch out like that. The horizons are now vast as the stars.
Infinite diversity in infinite combination. 🖖
I have no clue what's going on, but you probably broke something so good job!
What’s going on is you witnessed one of the games from one of the greatest developers of our time
Usually by year 2230 if you played relatively well, you should have a 20k fleet power, by killing the dragon he got a 100k fleet power
He cheesed an endgame space monster, zombified it, then used it to become the leader of the galaxy.
Then he abused his authority to destroy the galaxy and ascend to a higher plane of existence
average fleet power by the year they got 100K is like, 5K, 20K if you play really really well
The normal is have 100k of power in 200 years in game. In this video only in 30 years.
Man, I recall seeing the 3.6 sky dragon necromancy meta builds, and how 3.7 effectively killed it, but I guess nothing stays dead when ymfah's around
When you already used dead dragon, using dead dragon builds is just another step of derivative.
The true necromancy was the builds we resurrected along the way.
It actually got better because with the new computer the dragon under your command is much more powerful.
"nothing stays dead" is basically the goal of necromancy is it not?
@@Taolan8472 I prefer to word it as "Bringing families together"
I just bought the game a month ago, now I get blessed with ymfah uploading about it.
What a time to be alive.
same lol
literally same lmfao, got it and most of the dlcs like a day before i saw the teaser post for this video
Perfectly balanced, as all things should be...
What was will be..
What shall be was...
Man, the new elden ring rebalances has really sent it to the stars huh...
It's sequel to Moon ending
Ranni would be proud
Age of the Stars DLC
This is what Radahn was trying to stop all along
This the restored jellyfishes quest
Anyone else didn’t understand a thing but watched anyway because seeing ymfah breaking games is fun?

Thank you for this explanation.
Then they use cheese to kill your dragon.
1) feed space dragon
2) SLAUGHTER IT
3) BECOME IT
@@devilwolf3202 Prethoryn invading an AEgine'd Galaxy: it's quiet....too quiet.
Hearing that FTL ost was such a warm feeling and fits so well with the theme
Thought it was FTL!
Hard to beat the main menu theme tbh. Sometimes I just stick the 10hr version on and go to sleep, hahaha
@@amberhernandez Many times I've had to type in a room with a sleeping person and the FTL soundtrack 100% of the time keeps them asleep.
No way, a Stellaris video. Never expected that, awesome!
This man never ceases to amaze me every time , another game I’ve been playing for years broken yet again
This one was really enjoyable to watch! I really hope you do more games like this in the future!
Here be dragons is also a direct buff to spiritualist builds. Rushing unity lets you get the dragon in like, a little over the same time and for the same result of vassalizing the galaxy

The nostalgia hit me like a ton of bricks when the FTL tracks started playing

Thought i was on the wrong channel when i heard Montu. A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

Me too, I just bought Stellaris last week 😄
Damn looks like Stellaris is getting a spike of sales
Well it's the most broken one for player ! \o/
Kicking off the run with FTL too? Too good man!
Amazing, love paradox games
It's a good thing you took a break from souls series and decided to come up with something entirely different

I didn't expect a Stellaris video when I checked what videos had been uploaded! This is awesome!
watched all the way through and commenting even though I've never and will never play Stellaris for one reason: you deserve it. Thanks for all your content.
As a heavy Stellaris player, I'm just fucking flabbergasted at what you've done in this video. I gotta try it.
Why I keep rewatching this Video everytime I see it. Can't stop dang.
I have no idea what I'm watching, but it's from ymfah so I love it.
thats a weird soulslike you got there, definitely fits in terms of difficulty

Ymfah? Doing Stellaris?
Praise be! One of my favorite games and one of my favorite TH-camrs together at last!
unexpected but incredible! the ftl music at the beginning was great
I started playing stellaris recently and im really glad that pne of my favorite content creators made a video of it. Thanks buddy
ymfah and Paradox's Games...The new era begins!

Thank you so much for using music from FTL!!! That was my fist ever steam game and it's so nostalgic hearing the soundtrack again! 🎶
Ngl I wasn't as hyped as for more FromSofty videos this time, but if you want to make vids about other games, I'm here for it ;)
I don't know anything about this game but since it's a ymfah video I have to watch it
It was not of if just a matter of when. It it's a game with big numbers i expect to see ymfah around.
Didn’t know ymfah played galactic war crime simulator. Was pleasantly surprised to see this notification!
Words cannot describe how happy I was to hear FTL music.
edit: oh god the victory tune and the flagship overcharge sound when you cracked the star

Carl: Every game you touch turns into a Skyrim...*dies
This man can play any game and make it entertaining as hell!
The day you were born, the very forests of Lordaeron whispered the name... Ymfah.
I wasn't expecting Stellaris from a Ymfah vid, I am happy about this
Legend just released Stellaris video while cramming it with one of the best space game OST from FTL. Is today my birthday perhaps?
Hey, just wanted to say it was cool seeing you branch out past soulsborne stuff! I obviously love that stuff still, but challenges in all games are super entertaining
I have never played this game. I have no idea what happened in this video. 10/10.
I can't get bored of your videos, i rewatch them too much to be a healthy addiction.
Thx for the amazing content!
starting your Stellaris video with Endless Space 2 music is ultra based
Holy shit I didn't realize he got over a million subscribers. Deserves it, loved the early breaking DS videos, and for getting me into power wolf. It was epic
Immediately opening up with FTL music is an instant favorite from me
Wild, never expected a stellaris video from ymfah himself... ANOTHER!
Love your humor and music taste ❤
And gigabrain, of course
Oh boy, I can't wait for other 4X game videos to start popping up on ymfah's channel! :D
Love to see variety, keep the good work! :D
I really love seeing you branch out to other types of games! Keep it up!
Stellaris and FTL Music? My man is the truest man of culture
oh good god do not give this man paradox games, we will never hear the end of it
The best thing about your playthroughs are I don't need to know what's going on. I can just vibe all the way through.
WOAH stellaris, i did not expect that from you but a welcome addition
that’s what i really wanted to see from you as a paradox interactive fan
Your editing is always a treat. Thanks for this video!
I was not expecting Stellaris!! One of my favorite games, thanks!
Did not expect this but love it i enjoy Stellaris a lot
And here I thought he was kidding at the end of the last Elden Ring video. Well done.
I literally didn't understand any second of what was happening in this, but nice video
Well that was one expertly crafted video on op strat that I will defenitely not abuse in the future.

dude ymfah on STELLARIS? damn this is legendary
What a whiplash, from Dark Souls to Stellaris.
kind of amazing how your signature style and humor stays recognizable in an entirely different game and genre. I really like it, keep 'em coming!
I had to do a double-take when I realised this was from ymfah, a very welcome surprise.
Point defence? More like pointless defence, am I right?
I love Stellaris.
I don't know anything about this game, but I saw a ymfah video and clicked it.
What an unexpected game to upload, but a welcomed one.
I don't know what's to say because i don't know what's going on on my screen, so bravo!
I never expected montu plays to be used in a Ymfah video. This is a very different reality

Hey ymfah, while I am not a big fan of games like stellaris I enjoyed the video, I'm leaving a comment to help with the algorithm.
We are closer and closer to Ymfah great How to be OP at Microsoft Excel video guide))
This was realy fun to watch, was realy refreshing to see such a game from you. I would love to play and understand Stellaris but as someone who never played it... I just find it impossible to find a start and understand the game
This video deadass got me into Stellaris. Watched the first time, understood nothing. Played and came back, understood even less. Another Ymfah W
the new DLC to the Age of Stars ending looking pretty nice ngl
Yeah!!! Break more games please! This was fun. Good luck on your future projects!
This is why radahn held back the stars.
I will watch anything ymfah puts out. Even if it's about games i don't play or understand.
I'm going to be honest played lotsa paradox games, didn't expect ymfah to play stellaris, but what kept me going is knowing that he knows FTL and it's nice music.
Ymfah branching out? Yes please!
I very much like you branching out new content and trying out your formula with different games
I'm going to make sure I remember this for the next time I play
A Ymfah Stellaris video wasn't what I was expecting, but it's the content I needed.
No way one of my favourite Souls youtubers is doing Stellaris content too. No way! That would be too perfect for me.
