I have had this talk in my watch later list for far too long. I was just talking to my mom about knowing if what I am hearing is God or just me talking to myself. That verse in the beginning had me tearing up. I hear you God. I need to be sure in my faith and trust that I am hearing what God is putting on my heart. No self doubt this year. No more letting the enemy talk you away or down on what you believe God is calling you to and putting on your heart.
This is literally me. There's was a time I heard his whisper but when I told my mother, dad and sister the next day what God said to me, idk what happened at that exact moment, I started to doubt myself as I said it out loud and then i felt "condemn" because I told my family God spoke to me and if that wasn't his voice then I lied and that's the last thing I ever wants on my conscience.. Mhm. I used to be sure of when God spoke to me but these days im so doubtful.. I read a post recently and it opened my eyes to see is my faith and trust in the Lord is lacking. You don’t just listen to a whisper from heaven, that’s not biblical at all. Sure it happened to David, Abraham, Isaac, but just because it happens to them dosent mean it happens to every single person who believes, if it did, you wouldn’t need faith. God does not operate like that at all, if he speaks to you, often you’re NOT gonna hear it audibly, if you heard gods voice audibly all the time like you’re thinking, you would not need faith at all. So, if this were really so, that in spite of His will, people will be brought forever to hell and not saved, this would mean that He can not enforce His will and thus He is not the omnipotent God, if we follow these doctrines believe. - Why does it say in some passages that Jesus is the Son of God, in others the Son of Man and in others that He and God are one?
