Psionic storm on Marines Is the best upgrade by far. Just slightly better than the Yamato Cannon on overlords.

The lore of the Reaper is that they tried to train the pilots in versions that fly but because of the candidates chosen they kept crashing them and dying so they toned down the capability of the Reaper to make it more manageable and have fewer pilots blow themselves up. I think this factoid makes me an official SC2 geek, yes?
Well, turns out they did eventually make full flight versions of the Reaper suits after some time

Actually, they tried to make reaper the elite hit squads with airborne insertion and infiltration. And Actually, Raynor + Tychus + Heaven's Devil was the entire squad that was testing the prototypes.
Eventually, entire units defected because their commander see them as disposable and intended to kill them them while Tychus and co just want to steal shit. Raynor is the only canon survivor of the experimental squad post SC2 epilogue

So we put flying units into your flying units
If you saw right after when he took them out and had them flying together, the medivacs are quicker than vikings even without their boost. So if you've got the room and are using them primarily in ground mode, putting them inside a medivac is a much quicker way of moving them around (and you don't have to wait for their transformation time).
@@znxster Similar to helicopters, I imagine a medivac can probably lift a lot more than can fit inside of it (unless you're filling the interior with solid lead or heavier more exotic metals), so I'm betting the vikings are probably strapped to the bottom like the Thor is.
Besides, if you notice when they transform, the vikings do a heck of a thrust jump to get back in the air. It's completely possible that the viking's thrusters can perhaps be sync'd and act as additional engines to provide even more lift to support their own weight while the medivac's rear engines provide the forward motion.

This reminded me of a Pokemon, where you battle a 5 (/Horde of) Pokemon & a move called "Double Slap" which hit you with a weak slap but repeatedly slaps 2-5 times, yet it's called double slap, and you can't attack back until they're done, you decide to run away but end up knocking your pokemon and blacking out, except this one... they cast storm to you, twice.
3:52-4:00 so that’s why in Starcrafts (I forgot the episode) when just one mule dropped it picked up and just yeeted a HOLE MINERAL CHUNK in the orbital command

You would have loved the video of that one time almost ten years ago when I was playing Terran vs Zerg and I was loosing very badly after a very long and tedious game. I was reduced to my last base with a couple factories and a handful of SCVs so I made like 15 mines with the las of my gas. So then the other dude arrived on my base with his massive army of fliers (mostly mutas) to kill my last workers... and then they all exploded in a barrage of missiles... I won that game because the opponent quit after that.
man if I was Diamond protoss and had that Micro, I would wanna go back to bronze and practice

Funny thing is that the carriers building interceptors is what bled Segguer's minerals dry at the end.

Those colossus standing right next to 3 supply-dropped depots and not killing them at about 9:45 just makes me sad - the terran woulda been supply blocked so hard!
Protoss comes out ahead after the base race, terran army gets stormed - still 10 minutes to - taking a little peek for the player emblem in the victory window, its the terran one - this will be interesting;)
If Segguer had used the warp prism to drop some Immortals into the main, the game would have ended at the ten minute mark. Blink would have done much the same.

I don't use disruptors. I don't need the hassle of triggering a button to enable a unit to attack and then I have to manually direct said attack... too much micro and honestly; colossi are cooler.
It's great in PvP tho, they can win you a game.

I am the exact opposite of this Protoss player. You look at one of my games and: Archons...Archons everywhere.
The biggest mistake in that fight was to place all those templars directly under the buildings.
Just move a bit away then use the structures as baits to land easy storms.
The taldarim immortal skin always throws me off because you know... they don’t do what I’m used to the doing...
Now, what I think... Storming a unit that has shields while those units are near/under/over just health units is a good idea. However, something with low shields (and health) isn't a good idea.

Almost every storm Segguer casted also do friendly fire.
The commentary of this game was gold, so many good lines I can't pick a favourite.
As for the game itself.. Man I need a palette cleanse of like 12 pro games to get over this, yikes! Fun game to watch though.

At least Seg fought like a man, and went to the last drop of Protoss blood (Protoss have blood, right?).
Lowko highlighted a lot of mistakes but I think these were good players. Look how long they went back and forth fighting without ever losing their entire armies. Even when they messed up their micro both sides got some kind of value out of every engagement. Segguer knew how to take the fight to his opponent and make advanced units but clearly struggled controlling all his units + structures. Zergling was kinda derpy with his marines but he never stopped pumping out units and upgrades even when most players would have given up.
I love watching the lower level games and Lowko you make it fun and funny. Thank you

As protoss main I cringed sooooo hard at this. 21 high templar! Make like 5-7 archons you'd kill the entire Terran army.

I'm convinced that people call themselves Zergling or Terran and not play the respective faction so that if their games end up being casted people would be constantly confused by "Terran has lost a hatchery" or "zergling is making a colossus".

This time, holding the high ground did not mean it was over.
I checked. High templar have less dps than a probe at +0 and +1. veryyyy slightly more at +2 and a bit more at +3.
So yup definitely don't want to kill thing with those attacks. I guess it mainly exist so that players that aren't pro can attack move with them in their army without having them run in and hug the ennemy like before they had this attack. So it's not meant to deal damage but really just there to make the micro easier. I didn't play the game that much since a long time so I didn't really know they had this attack now but it's a cool addition imo.
I've always been bad at micro so when I played protoss I would always go for archon rather than high templar with my gas because they were much easier to micro and still did some splash damage. (obviously colossus if there was no air pressure). Maybe I should try using them now that they won't suicide in the ennemy army x)

I keep saying it and I'll say again, these games are more fun to watch cause pro players they lose their army they gg and their entire base is still intact, games like this where he played slippery gypsy and hid until he could finish what he started is just not something you see in pro games ever, these are fun, cheeky and brain damaging, but fun

Psi storm is SO broken in low level PvT. I remember having an 80 supply disadvantage, but a bunch of stormy boys, and pulled out a win.
