Nice video! Not heard 'shortage of station staff' before

Nice video looks like theres a technical fault with the speakers or Anne itself, Face masks sounds like Janine Cooper Marshall as I heard her at a video I saw of trains at Bristol Temple Meads.

Thanks Jamie. I think it’s the speakers as they were doing it with manual announcements too. It is Janine, I hope they add more of her recordings to stations in the future!

@@Parallel395 oh right hopefully it's a simple fix or just replacing them and yes hopefully Janine could be added more at stations and trains as GWR do favour her voice as well as Anne and Rodger.

Looking back at Phil Egerton’s video of announcements at this station from 2020, I just realized the fault was found in that video as well.

Not to brag, but I feel like a CrossCountry service between Birmingham New Street and Bristol Temple Meads would have a 170 fit best judging from the small amount of stations and distance on the route that way. If the train would have went to Glasgow Central from Penzance arriving at 10:44, then yes I would take it using the intercity/long distance Voyager or HST.

Rodger is compared to Phil by many passengers. Saying that they sound significantly similar
