Jkia has grown in leaps and bounds the last time I was working there especially in the airfreight cargo section and modernization of the passenger terminal. That's progress
The airport looks good but they should've built a modern infrastructure instead of building a new terminal,the Chinese built SGR stations looks far much better than the airport.
Remember Jubilee stopped the construction of the new greenfield airport without sufficient reasons. 10 years down the road they're realizing their stupid decision
Dint know about terminal 2 looks empty more than terminal 1 where most poeple are used to ...unfortunately the domestic terminal 1D is usually too congested i wish they can transfer it ...I have never been to soo many places 😩 in jkia according to this video...word to remember that was not syokimau estate those were the remnants of houses built on the airport land illegally many of them were demolished poeple lost properties others had heart attacks...please note that is not empty land
The Airport has turned into a 'Machakos Bus Stage' eversince they destroyed the OLD and Majestic Arrivals Building that proudly bore the name JKIA! It is a Total mess now. The previous design, build and layout was not only beautiful, but was practical, with EACH Termnal having a dedicated passenger drop off point, and with a dedicated Car Park too! Now, it is damn mess! I do not know what fool has been incharge since the order to demolish the Old Arrivals Building was given, an icon that stood so majestically! This airport should be named Machakos Airport!
Why is it the airport is clean and grassy yet the city 🏙️🌆 is dirty dusty and brownie whoever is making it happen there should be let manage the city too
They misbehave because they've been let be by those uncouth Kenyan fake politicians who know nothing about modern cities bylaws yet they scramble everyday to travel overseas to waste tax payers money
