Idk about harsh. Yeah he messes with hank but when he told him about the whole “shame on your family” thing he had a look of genuine concern. He likes to pick on hank but he knows he’s a good man.
Coming from an Asian background it's why I despise the culture. Judgmental, two-faced, and inevitably comes from trying to mask deep insecurities. To make matters worse many are religious which only adds fuel to the fire.

it's funny that kahn and hank are actually really similar. always extremely concerned with how they appear to their community. it's just that they have different values that they want reflected; until it comes to their kids, where they are in agreement.

@Garrett That's sad but whatever, basically Hank is always looking out for what the community thinks of him and his family. This is most prevalent in the first season when he gets really upset as people talk about his parenting skills and his wife's parenting skills. He's also always making sure he doesn't look too affectionate to his wife in public, making sure his house is clean so he doesn't "look like a drunk" and that his family seems Christian because he gets upset when Bobby doesn't display enough Christianity in Sunday school. On top of that, he also got extremely upset when his community thought he was a pervert due to some porn being delivered to his house. There are many more examples of this behavior.

You're referring to the back of the ally. They hardly ever mess that up, except Bobby's room multiple times teleporting it constantly, and that one time Peggie was staring at Dale in his yard, but she's in the kitchen facing her yard and not where the garage is located.
Kahn may make fun of Hank but he respects him as a father. He knows if Connie needs help he'll be there.

It would be an interesting fight. Hank may not look like it but he can throw down when needed. The same can be said about Kahn. Kahn is shown to be extremely skilled in martial arts.
He did try to kick his ass in the episode "The Year of Washing Dangerously", but Kahn managed to dodge it.
Hank normally just threatens to kick people's asses. He rarely actually does it.
