Interesting results, the 'muddyness' on some of the images is probably due to the expired film?🤔 I picked up the exact same camera from a thrift shop for a bargain £4 however it does have issues, on closer inspection the film door latch, doesn't latch, it looks like the spring has just dislodged..😊 But worse, the old batteries had been left in and leaked, so bad they were stuck 'welded' in the battery compartement! 😳😲 I'm hopeful I can clean up the corrosion I just don't know if it's terminally damaged yet....😲😁
@@AudrieStorme Sadly, I stopped shooting film last year because of how expensive it is today here in the Philippines. I was hopeful I'd get tips from you instead. 😅😂
Ahhh yes, it’s getting so expensive! I’ve been cutting costs by scanning it myself these days and asking for rolls of film for Christmas and birthdays 😅 I want to develop myself as well but I haven’t gotten around to it!
When using a film camera, to prevent film loss caused by inaccurate sensitivity, I typically employ a light meter for precise metering. The VBR-PHO metering device would be an excellent choice as it ensures effective and accurate metering, enabling you to capture exceptional photographs.
my dad has some 15 year old expired film that i might use now to test out a different camera, thanks for the idea! he did keep it in the fridge all these years so hopefully it's okay
I did a detailed review on my blog with side by side photo comparisons to professional photo lab scans! But would you prefer a video review? I thought it would be easier to compare the photos on blog 🤔
.Whenever I see cameras on bookshelves, I think to myself, am I the only person in the world who has dust in their home? 🙈🤓I have been taking photographs for 35 years and have many cameras, but they are all in closed cupboards with glass doors.
I just ordered this camera. Just how loud is it? I read that its loud when the film rewinds (which doesnt bother me), but is it loud with every frame advance?
Ahh I should have kept the music off when I included it, but it’s pretty loud! The scene in the intro when I open the lens is pretty volume accurate and it’s the same with every shutter click
@@AudrieStorme oh wow, that is loud lol. It would be bad for street photography since you want to discreetly take pictures of strangers. But everyday life documenting, it doesnt bother me. Thank you for the info!
@@pinaypanda1I have this camera. Even though it is loud, the cool thing about it is you press the shutter button keep holding it down it won't advance to the next shot. So you could take a picture doing street photography and kind of walk away discreetly without making any noise and then let go.
loving the consistency 🤩
“Consistency is more important than perfection” is on my vision board this year!
This video makes me happy ✨ love to see u back here!
so happy to hear that 🥹 thank you for watching and happy to be back!

The vibe of these pictures is just perfect, love it!
Hope you guys have a wonderful year. This is an awesome video. Thanks for sharing. ❤️😎✌️
Thanks for watching!
I have the same camera that I bought 2 years ago when I started shooting film because of you 🤯
Give me tips!! I’ve only done this one roll, but I like it so far other than the fact that it breaks the sound barrier with one click

Hey Audrie! Could you make a video about what film camera to choose? There’s just too many options lmao
loved this video 🤎
thank you for watching 🫶🏽🫶🏽

You should try it out! The general rule is that you should overexpose by 1 stop for every decade that the film is out of date. Hope that helps!
How expired was the film?
Those pics were very beautiful and moody, Tumblr vibes ✨️ 🔥
I didn’t have the box so I’m not sure 😅 someone just gave it to me to have, but I think it was from the 2000s?
Can you PLEASE share a review of the Kodak scan device??!!

do you have a video thaty explains how you scan your films at home? I would love to know more!
Yes! It’s the one year of film video from 2022 i think
Could you do an updated haircare routine please ? ❤
It’s not much different than the last one 🙈
