Caleb Shomo puts everything he has into a song that he literally has to take breaths between words. Writing and recording the instrumentation for an ep fully on your own and then giving your all on every song makes me have some crazy respect for this guy.
+King Infinite I heard that when he records he does one take, so it sounds raw and real. I love it

Screamers need to take breaths inbetween screams. They didn't edit them out of this song for a more raw sound.
Well. There is that and also he admitted to not knowing how to correctly do control his breath.
boys alot of metal core bands . Can sound good but I always think about how bad they're gonna blow their voice out

I always told myself that I would never get involved in the internet drama but this is just silly!! Caleb does NOT hurt his voice at all. He never loses his voice. He was trained to scream and sing properly by Melissa Cross. He has NEVER inhaled screams in his life. I know these things because im the drummer for Beartooth. It's crazy how the choruses in this EP still have that catchy Beartooth style. Even from day 1 Caleb was writing mad hooks.

Everyone wanted Caleb to sound like Austin carlile while he was in attack attack, now Caleb does Austin better than Austin.
Caleb's songs are so hardcore awesome and emotional.. i just hope he does another song similar to sick and disgusting. That song is so emotional with truth echoing in the lyrics, and i loved that perfect balance in that song while the song kept up a good beat. I'm excited for the new album and no matter what i know I'm going to love it.. I just hope Caleb keeps up the truth in his song. I Trust him enough to give Brandon some cool beats to play out.. But i know it can be hard to keep up the truth in your lyrics. 🎸

I remember when Attack Attack made Caleb the keyboardist and he was good then they made him Vocalist and Keyboard and he was still awesome, then the band broke up and I died inside..... until I found out about Beartooth. and to my surprise... its just as amazing as Attack Attack.
I think Beartooth is better, I don't know haha I just liked the last album of AA
Finding out I missed some songs just discovering them after I've already heard Disease and loving them all

If any of you think Caleb lacks talent, you're exceptionally ignorant. He single handedly wrote and recorded this entire EP himself. And in my opinion, it's a relieving release. It goes back to the roots of metalcore, and throws out the generic, overly produced bullshit. This is what metalcore used to be. And it's nice to see that one guy who's in his early 20's is talented enough to write such a great EP.
sometimes youve got to go through alot in life to write emotional/good music like this.

I love the insanity in Beartooth's songs. Just how he screams and the guitar and everything. Reminds me of The Chariot. Which is also one of the best bands ever. Haha.

Attack Attack! was founded in 2005 by members Austin Carlile, Ricky Lortz, Andrew Whiting, Nick White,Andrew Wetzel. Several months later, Ricky Lortz announced his departure and was soon replaced by Johnny Franck as the new vocalist/rhythm guitarist at the time. Later, Nick White also announced his departure from the group and John Holgado was added on bass and in 2008, Caleb Shomo joined the band on keyboard. In early 2008.
I wouldn't doubt it, he record almost all the instruments for Attack Attack's self titled.
