During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

This is by far one of the nicest cars Mercedes has made in a while. The combination of sporty/elegant looking exterior and the absolutely phenomenal 'Bentley' like interior are just a pleasure to look at. Well done Mercedes, well done!
Just went from the Alpina B7 video to this one, and as good as that Alpina was, it's mindblowing to see how far ahead the S-Class is.
Went in this car for my prom. The power this thing produces is unreal for the weight. 0-60 in about 4 seconds. But the best bit is the smooth ride and comfort. You definitely feel like you have the money when sat in a car like that. Also, the twin turbo v8 is just beautiful.

I don't think there's any other video review that goes to your level of detail, passion and understanding of every possible feature and offering in a vehicle. This review only aids for another reason to why the S-class is simply the best and unlike any other car on the road

Just when I thought I was done Cargasming over the new S classes, the best vehicle review channel on TH-cam drops another video to get me going....
i really don't think the automatic door closers are for failing to close the door all the way. i'm pretty sure the purpose behind it is so that you're not always slamming the door. i remember back on the earlier BMW 7 series, they called it "soft-close doors"
or something like that.
That's true, but it also works for the way I described. Different way of putting it I suppose. I will mention that for future videos as well so it doesn't confuse someone.

if the maintenance and fuel would be that expensive, you would probably go supercar over this car.
It has more controls and configuration than a small airplane, which for me takes a lot of comfort away. I need the intuitiveness and efficiency that a bmw, audi or lambo offers me
SSFallschirmjagerSS Know what you're saying, but you think a BMW or Audi will offer you less need for configuration? A lambo has practically no config needed because it's a supercar and has fewer features than a luxury car such as this. Having owned a BMW I can say although it's intuitive and efficient, there are just as many configurations you can make. That's good for me because I like that sort of thing. If anything, I would say this Merc has more features but manages them much more efficiently so it's not overwhelming :) Just throwing my opinion out there. Not that anyone will pay any attention to it...

Hello Kyle, this review got you my sub, it was awesome. At first i was like, wow, 40 minutes, it's too long, but it's really not, i've enjoyed every minute of it, so thank you. I have one quastion however, and it's not regarding this review. How come you haven't done all new 2013 Range Rover? I've been following your work for some time now, and it just feels like 2013 is not complete without that review with Range Rover being such a big release this year. Just curious.

At around 6 minutes what he was basically saying was that you could be drunk or high and the car would drive for you most of the way.
There's a video on youtube of the S class driving itself in Germany for like an hour trough towns and in traffic.

That was a heck of a good automobile tour! Very nice car, how does this car stack up against a RR Ghost or a Bentley Phantom? The S63 is probably 1/3 the cost of those 2 cars but, it can compete with those 2 top wallet status cars!?

Hate the way the sound comes out on film, these cameras are terrible at picking up the grunt on microphone. Sounds so quiet on film yet it's properly loud in person. Great review by the way.
