official cards usually are from Bandai, Ensky or other Japanese company. Unofficial one are China based company that is licensed only to be sold in China.

no, those are not shady or fake, i think? in my opinion their just not official product. the boxes i open are China made which is very popular here in HK which is the same one in AliExpress
