@Herrdesrings Really?! Ahh wow that's one of my favourite songs! The guitar tone at the beginning is so good! Looks like I'm going to have to learn it now :) Thank you!
Wow this is fantastic! It's nice to see that you look like you're really enjoying the song! 'Cause Periphery are such an amazing band who write such inspirational music! Ahh I wish I had a 7 string so I could learn some of their stuff :(
@dragon2712 true dat man. i have a c-1 with a tune-o-matic bridge aswell (i think it's only guitars with TOM's that ring out), and i just put some masking tape right behind the saddle. eliminates majority of the buzz so far
i've been playing a 7 string for only a few weeks now and they're really easy to get used to, even easier to write songs on than a 6 string. the one i use is a Schexter Hellraiser C-7, they're really clear and quite affordable, coming in at about £800 which is about $1300, i highly recommend it
@crazycoolfools With some guitars (like schecter) the strings behind the nut still vibrate a little even when the string is muted - this can cause an unpleasant high pitched ringing. Duct tape across the strings, foam behind the nut, or this wristband method (which i haven't seen before, but I assume is there for the same reason) are all easy fixes.
im from ohio and its everywhere. everyone and there grandma is starting some kind of djent band now. I know guys and bands that were playing a totally different style of metal, but when djent came along thats all they play now. Give it a few years and it will have the same strigma attached to it like every other genre
Hey, I know this is random, but what do you recommend for someone getting there first electric guitar? I have a classical guitar that I play (i got it when I was twelve) and I started playing it around November. What guitar should I get? What amp? Is a starter pack the way to go? BTW Awesome cover, totally bonecrushing sound. I asked you this because I know you work at a guitar center.
I have a question for anyone who can help me out.. I want to start playing a 7 string guitar and eventually 8 string. Would it be better for me to buy a shitty 7 string and then buy and 8 string later on or should i just jump to a 8 string right away. Im not to familiar with 7 or 8 string guitars but i really want to start playing stuff like Periphery, Meshuggah, Animals as Leaders, etc.
overall pretty nice but it sounds like during the first verse there are notes missing only reason I notice i guess is because it's been my ringtone for a few months now
@ibafish lol well if you look at his other videos he's played stuff like Attack Attack and Breaking Benjamin, so i don't understand why you are so shocked at the notion for him to play an A7X song.
i wouldnt say that considering a lot of people in my area hate those bands that Lilthlmmacualte listed... so djent around my area is pretty rare. except for my band... considering were the only djent band we know of in our area.
U doing with passion... Awesome..
Thanks!
