I think charcoal rice hull or burnt rice husk can do almost the same, it has almost all the properties that activated charcoal has. And also it's easy to prepare if you can collect rice husks.😊😊💐💐
I am trying to start my aloe plant but I have limited resources that are available to me ..what are your thoughts on this one? I collected sand dirt mix from a large stream and i purchased some seed starting potting mix ..i have heard that you can use pine bark also which i can attain very easily but i can see that obviously you know what youre doing when it comes to aloe so i was just curious if you yourself couldn't make the exact recipe then what woul be your choixes?
There is no universal soil mix for aloe plants. just need to make sure the soil is well-draining, not compact or unbreathable. Add a part of your seed starting mix & a part of sand, and half part pine bark. That will also work☘️🌷🌷

Never seen a tighter tooth aloe. Good information. My aloe is thriving, but needs a bigger pot and I was wondering about the soil.
I've really enjoyed watching your informative videos. Very helpful. With thanks from myself and my Aloe! :)

@@Plantalogy Any alternatives for activated charcoal?

@@Plantalogy Thanks for the immediate response👍
Think that's the best. Fine sand will flush out and can compact, as far as I know.
