@@vincentfrick6880 Btw. is Richter canon? Has he german heritage? Because "Richter" in german means judge. Seems a fitting name for him and his position in NY.
I love that Julia is here, really. She's so cool! Also, kudos to Xander / Brawn for creating weak spots on Airbox's neck. That was hella smart! Jason as Lizzie going "I know he wanted to kill him but he couldn't do it... So I'll do it for him." was coooold!! Even Noura and Cynthia were flabbergasted. Such an iconic moment.
Holy Cain and the Antideluvians. Brawn, ya living up to your name sake! That was worth the weeklong wait for this. Great job Vamily, excited for the next
Brawn is the one mentioning the Masquerade the most often, and then he breaks the world record in pole vault without pole in front of dozens of mortals!
Wow, what a gem of an episode, absolutely loved it! Brawn is awesome (Xander knows how to use game mechanics very well), well everyone is! : 3 And Brawn rolls like a boss, Rey would be pissed because of how unlucky he was in similar circumstances ;)
As a fan of the LA by Night and all other series by Jason Carl, i have to say this second season really surprised me, the coterie fits so well together, the first season i really enjoyed more Rey, maybe i'm a cam fanboy or like ambitious players but i'm loving it!
"...So I'll do it for him." I love the table's reaction to this menacing threat, I can only imagine the tension skyrocketing 😱Damn, what a fight, what an episode, bravo to everyone! 👍
I've suspected that since the last episode of Club Auspex, where Michelle said her character was obsessed with the human body. I would consider the angel as confirmation she's part of the cult.
I absolutely loved this episode and Xander Jeanneret really showed his inner strength as an actor. Everyone else also did an amazing job however I must say it was a real pleasure watching this one.
I've only just been informed about who Julia is to the VtM lore, so it's cool to see her show up in the chronicle, and Xander's excitement when she does put a smile on my face 😄
Excellent fight. I wonder if Xander could be accused of chewing the scenery;-) When Jason played the nosferatu it took me back to Seattle by Night. Good times.
This episode in its' entirety is amazing, but I cannot get over Xander Jennaret doing the friends double-fist-tap @ 13:54. I love Brawny da Vampiya Man, and that was just exquisite. For those who don't know, that little pantomime is basically giving the finger without giving the finger.
I absolutely never expected Brawn to win against Airbox, especially after what happened when Ray tried. pleasantly surprised. But then xander is always so good at deciding is actions, but so are his stats too I guess, and his rolls.
He has good stats for this of course but it definitely helped that he was rolling well. If he'd been rolling like Rey he would've been dead for sure. 😆
GREAT episode! Credit goes to Khalida, Coco and Kieim with Brawn of course! The host did a great job. Very energetic, LOTS of char interaction heavy, and also very tangible thanks to the descriptive narrator of the sounds and sights (could use more smell descriptions) which was helpful considering how much the environment influenced the conversations. GREAT job a around. Coco really showed some range and complexity. With how her relationship to her clans weaknesses and strengths creates this kinda self-loathing mixed w/pride(?) that strengthens her aggression, and self-awareness (for ex. her comment teaching Brawn about restraint) but also her wit and cynicism (making her selective with who she trusts and sniffing out suspicious people) which all in-turn helps to fuel her viscous almost militaristic devotion to completing tasks and goals like locating suspicious individuals, exits, or carrying Conrad’s to safety, tho light seems to stand out compared to other Lasombra flaws, having this love/hatred towards the light and people who embrace it along with her kinda of social awkwardness juxtaposed with her draconian outlook. Kieim gave us some good char depth as a toreador with her fetish for skin and appendages, fondness to the team brute, and that bloodlust for brawn toward the end of the fight, that coupled with her combat being spec to hand to hand, and the toreador’s art and cerebral nature really makes you wonder… Khalida is so great as a Ventrue, just her dialogue alone emotes that she’s someone to be treated special! But the way she takes over negotiations and directs the others without like a nervous awkwardness, and also her social skills in getting to know others and her double speak subterfuge create this tension around her like she can be very deadly but doesn’t put it all out there like lower kindred lol For Brawn, I pretty much agree with most of the comments in this comment section about him.
I had always assumed that New York by Night takes place after the Shadows of New York game. In much the same way that LA by Night was post Bloodlines. Though with Julia still looking into Chalihan's death it means the story is somewhere in the middle of the game.
The tension during the talk with Rictor was so delicious. They captured the silent animosity between Camarilla and the Anarchs marvelously. And then the fight where Brawn showed how formidable he can be. Awsome session!
I generally listen to shows at 2x speed and while its not exactly the same, at 2x the music in the night club at times gives me like 90s X-Men theme song vibes. Not the whole time, but there's like 1 section that just triggers that memory of how awesome of a theme that was.
If I was Kiem I would take care of myself around anarchs. Them being so casual about Lizzie being stabbed just means that their daggers are pointed towards her back.
Why do I get the suspicion that certain characters are going to flip from Cam to Anarch and vice versa? Cause Rey and Brawn could totally swap sides at this point.
I actually think Kiem is likeliest to switch to Anarch based on whatever uncanny valley sh- she has goin' on. Heck, maybe her AND Brawn both will but I think he has some sort of need for rules & structure that Anarchs can't provide And Rey is "anarch" by virtue of terrible accident cuz it's mentioned he was being groomed to be a ventru cam
Brawn out hear reminding folks that the Nosferatu can be just as deadly as a Brujah or Gangrel in a fight. People forget that the Nos antediluvian was the greatest hunter out of the 13, don't let the computer geek stereotype fool you, the Nos have the potential to be absolute beasts in combat.
I have waited since LA by Night for subtitles in spanish, but until now there aren't even glimpses of try to put it some on any of the shows that WoD have in their platform. I understand english, but sometimes you have words that I can't understand 'cause english is my second language... It could be so helpful to have some subtitles, be able to comprehend what they say, it's so important to some of us that watch and follow this without being a born english speaker.
Excellent, excellent, excellent! The cast is magnificent and the costumes are on point. Is there a podcast version? Would very much like to listen while driving across the desert.

Appreciate the time stamp pal. I enjoy the episodes before reading comments but when I return to this in the future I like how helpful these are.
Credit to Jason Carl on his accent work Oglivie was just *chef's kiss*
i love how coco and khalida are frenemies
Holy Cain and the Antideluvians. Brawn, ya living up to your name sake! That was worth the weeklong wait for this. Great job Vamily, excited for the next
Brawn is the one mentioning the Masquerade the most often, and then he breaks the world record in pole vault without pole in front of dozens of mortals!
I love the fact he's playing a martial nosferatu. Really creative use of his clan!
Wow, what a gem of an episode, absolutely loved it! Brawn is awesome (Xander knows how to use game mechanics very well), well everyone is! : 3
And Brawn rolls like a boss, Rey would be pissed because of how unlucky he was in similar circumstances ;)
The fight was amazing, but I adore all the characters showing off how they start the Night's really shows a window into the characters they have
Coco is now the "Phone Breaking Bandit".
Seeing Cynthia getting teased about her names - I just can't keep a straight face about it
Feels like we may be seeing some of the faces from S1 as guest stars. Here's hoping!
Trying to remember when that was, its been a while.
Lizzie to Brawn after he beats Airbox. @@JnEricsonx
I wonder if Kiem is a descendant of Michael or part of his cult, since she has that giant portrait of an angel in her Haven!
I've suspected that since the last episode of Club Auspex, where Michelle said her character was obsessed with the human body. I would consider the angel as confirmation she's part of the cult.
Wow, I've never seen someone roll so well like Brawn in the cage. Crazy!
I absolutely loved this episode and Xander Jeanneret really showed his inner strength as an actor. Everyone else also did an amazing job however I must say it was a real pleasure watching this one.
I've only just been informed about who Julia is to the VtM lore, so it's cool to see her show up in the chronicle, and Xander's excitement when she does put a smile on my face 😄
who is she?
@@wickedly4 Main character in the Shadows of New York video game for VtM.
@@pjsmith97 There are two possible endings for the game, and both are hard won...and have costs.
The fact that shes here means she got the "good"(bad) one @@NorthForkFisherman
@@fariondragon nope - that's still a question hanging in the air over our erstwhile young Keeper. Which ending did you get?
Every time The Cage is in an episode the music always goes unreasonably hard even though its in the background.
Excellent fight. I wonder if Xander could be accused of chewing the scenery;-)
When Jason played the nosferatu it took me back to Seattle by Night.
Brawn is oddly verbose when he says things like 'metal implements'. Ain't he a darling.
LESSON:
The Anarchs ain't perfect, but they're the best gig in town right now.
Until you win in a fair fight and still are on someone's hit list. :(
Love Xander's makeup
God these fly by so quickly oh my god.
i am so happy for brawn, a downtrodden puglist by none other then the great equalizer, time. given a second chance for some of his free will
GREAT episode!
Kieim gave us some good char depth as a toreador with her fetish for skin and appendages, fondness to the team brute, and that bloodlust for brawn toward the end of the fight, that coupled with her combat being spec to hand to hand, and the toreador’s art and cerebral nature really makes you wonder…
Khalida is so great as a Ventrue, just her dialogue alone emotes that she’s someone to be treated special! But the way she takes over negotiations and directs the others without like a nervous awkwardness, and also her social skills in getting to know others and her double speak subterfuge create this tension around her like she can be very deadly but doesn’t put it all out there like lower kindred lol
For Brawn, I pretty much agree with most of the comments in this comment section about him.
Maaan, that voice has to be tough on Xander's vocal cords
Coco giving me Aubrey Plaza vibes
The "resting lick face" bit sold that vibe for me lol
This was such a great, fun episode. Brawn has been so much fun. Xander is such a quick wit.
Another excellent episode, always a great cure for boredom.
I had always assumed that New York by Night takes place after the Shadows of New York game. In much the same way that LA by Night was post Bloodlines. Though with Julia still looking into Chalihan's death it means the story is somewhere in the middle of the game.
Is it lighting or makeup that make Noura's eye seem like they're glowing. It adds a little extra spookiness to Khalida
Brawn is winning me over, ngl
Lizzy is now a sincere concern and liabilities need to be liquidated...just my opinion.
Right! Shame too. I love a good Malkavian but we can't have loose strings. Especially when they are a childe of Malkav.
I would have not bet on Brawn... I was wrong! So many good rolls!
Xander's got some great acting range!
I wonder if he did any of the ghoul voices in Fallout?
I'm gonna need a song list for the Club. "Bronx Cheer" sounds amazing
First time watching live. I’m enjoying the season so far.
The tension during the talk with Rictor was so delicious. They captured the silent animosity between Camarilla and the Anarchs marvelously. And then the fight where Brawn showed how formidable he can be. Awsome session!
That Ogilvy voice was epic
It sounds like Mr Gold from LA but if he had marbles in his mouth. Still great
I was hoping to see Brawn Vogue'ing his way across the dance floor, just to see Coco's face.
Everyone says Jason isn't much of a VO actor, but I swear I heard Ray Walston in his Olgilvy voice.
He has a honed expertise on the affectations & voices he can do & I agree he's really good.
I loved Xander as X in LAbN, but oh man, Brawn is such a GREAT character!
I generally listen to shows at 2x speed and while its not exactly the same, at 2x the music in the night club at times gives me like 90s X-Men theme song vibes. Not the whole time, but there's like 1 section that just triggers that memory of how awesome of a theme that was.
I picked up on that too even with normal speed - there was definitely a similarity.
If I was Kiem I would take care of myself around anarchs. Them being so casual about Lizzie being stabbed just means that their daggers are pointed towards her back.
I was honestly a bit scared for Brawn for a second, happy he won...but scared he would get f'ed up.
Why do I get the suspicion that certain characters are going to flip from Cam to Anarch and vice versa? Cause Rey and Brawn could totally swap sides at this point.
I'm thinking the same thing tbh.
That might have been the plan from the jump. The long hard road for the Gangrel portrayed in vivid detail.
I actually think Kiem is likeliest to switch to Anarch based on whatever uncanny valley sh- she has goin' on. Heck, maybe her AND Brawn both will but I think he has some sort of need for rules & structure that Anarchs can't provide
And Rey is "anarch" by virtue of terrible accident cuz it's mentioned he was being groomed to be a ventru cam
No three turns and out this time, beautiful!
Jason's Nosferatu voices are THE BEST
Xander’s dancing is hilarious and adorable.
:::points to Jasper:::: No shit! :)
Wonderful preforming from everyone this episode. I think this club is my favorite setting so far this season.
Wait, Francis is in NY from LA? He's the same Francis from Sour Sugar! That little cross-over put a big smile on my face.
Yup! Confirmed in s1
Brawn keeps stealing the show! 🥊🧛♂️
This video has me feeling some kinda way with Coco and Simone. 🥴 (Apologize if I spelled that name wrong.)
Excellent, excellent, excellent! The cast is magnificent and the costumes are on point. Is there a podcast version? Would very much like to listen while driving across the desert.
the Group should be called "the Knockout's" 3 ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥 Vamp's And the Literal Knockout 💪!
I'm sort of pissed this is Episode 3, cause it feels like these seasons are over so fast =(.
Ain't that the truth. Smaller 'sodes and no more epilogues make a huge difference. But there just so good that the time flies by too.
So Brawn is the Anti-Rey.
Hahaha I see what you mean
LOL... Rey reminds me of Mister Furious from Mystery Men. All anger, no focus.
I have to admit, I desperately wanted airbox to win:(
Ouch! 😆
True but ouch!
...I ship it????
I love Brawn 😄 xanders always funny
Makes me think of Ben Grimm as a vampire.
Brawn and Kiem are officially my fav ny by night duo
everyone is great. i love xander. I liked x better but brawn is growing on me :)
Khalida "You're dark!" I live!!!!
Mr. Carl's Ogilvie voice sounded like a mix of Leonard Nemoy, Vince McMahon, and Dick Van Dyke!
why is Kiem so crazy....I kinda love it
Always hungry the spiderman is!
Loving the Lizzy and Airbox duo 🥲
Oh man, as a Lasombra fanboy, the interaction with Coco's beast is /*chef's kiss/*
Khalida: is this an all kindred club
Lizzy: No
Khalida: [then AWE is a activated]
🤣
So cool to see Julia!
Such a good episode. Amazing interactions from everyone
Enjoyed it! He should have healed while he had access to all that blood.
I'm gonna guess they probably handled that, given how much access he had. I can imagine a minute or two of cursing at failed heals, then actual heals.
this is such a good episode
